Friendly neighborhood vampire

To Eddie the moment you become his object of affection you are quite latterly his everything, the reason he wakes up, goes to sleep, eat, and go to school.

The amount of power you hold changes his mood as easy the ability of the wind to change direction. An example being the simple act of you turning your head when you feel the burning stare of Eddie, locking eyes and smiling that soft gentle smile before turning back. For him that simple action lights the fire in his soul, burning bright and ablaze to keep him warm for the many months of this freezing isolation of social outcast.

While Eddie know this ‘crush’ he has on you is a little too obsessive to be healthy he can’t stop himself like some kind of addict, he doesn’t even fight the denial and just accepts that this is the new normal,

To breathe the passing air of you and worshipping it like the divine gift you clearly were.

You could commit murder right in front of him and Eddie’s only response would smile and ask if you needed help hiding the body, unphased and ready to be useful to you.

Being the newest member to Hawkin High and a graduate like him Eddie would hyper focus on making a good impression and try to befriend you, despite his social awkwardness and fumbling.

Eddie could never get any potential romantic interest their breath let alone the time of their day, mostly ending the conversation before it even started.

So, to say he was nervous starting a conversation was an understatement, luckily he had his friend Gareth and Jeff try to work him up enough to get the courage to talk to you.

With long almost dancing stride Eddie finally found his way behind you before tapping your shoulder, curiously you’d turn to see the longhaired androgynous man, Eddie. You knew him before he even had a change to introduce himself.

“I was wondering when you would finally talk to me,” You smiled sweetly as the ‘devil of Hawkins’ found himself powerless and dry-throat.

“Pleasure to finally meet you, Eddie.” His name rolling off your tongue sickeningly sweet but genuine, Eddie was flustered and dumbfounded- you knew him already.

Rumours, gossip, his terrible reputation, what really introduced him first? Eddie’s mind spinning into a death spiral of anxious thoughts, if you already knew his reputation then his chance are next to none now. What was he going to do, should he bother, what now-

“Hellooo? Earth to Munson?” You waved your empty hand in front of his face trying to bring him back, Eddie’s eyes immediately back on you he noticed your raised brow and stare.

“Uh, sorry-“ He laughed nervously,

“Just didn’t realize you knew me already.” He finished with a gulp and attempted a steady gaze

“Really, because with all your staring I assumed that was your plan. To get me ‘acquainted’ with you.” The way you talked, moved, gestured- it all matched and complimented him, hell rivaled.

Eddie laughed timidly again staring at his feet like a little schoolboy, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare I just never seen you around.” It was a lame excuse and the both of you knew it, internally Eddie was screaming and cringing at the same time.

You smiled so sweetly, so earnestly, that gesture melting him to the very core and the tipping point. Eddie was going to make you his and there was no way he’s ever going to let you go, ever.

Lady luck seemed to be on his side as he somehow managed to befriend you creating a pretty close bond, Eddie still has no idea how he managed to pull it off. You while not a part of the preppy and popular group but also not a "loser" like him, are just somewhere in the middle, but defiantly in better social standing than him Eddie was scared that his status would cause him to lose you.

Therefore Eddie was pretty clingy to make sure you'd stay with him, whenever you two walked he'd keep his arm around you waist like a couple, or guide you with a hand on the small of your back. Begging you to join his club or at least just sit and watch, at one point he was bitterly on his knees as he clung to your hands and begged up at you,

Not to mention at the first moment he could Eddie would invite himself over to your place, and ever since then, he might as well live there. It's his favourite place and your parents don't even raise an eyebrow when he walks through the doors without you, just asking if he ate yet or needs anything.

The thing about Eddie is that his love for you is so obsessive its worship, anything and everything you do is divine. This worship goes so far that Eddie develops 'sticky fingers' in your house, starting with small things like taking your pencil or pens. But of course this habit grows, eventually stealing hoodies and shirts worn more than they should.

One late summer Friday night the two of you are laying on the opposite ends of the couch watching some shitty horror film as the both of you are eating a popsicle, you finish first and just leave the stick in your mouth not really caring.

Eddie nearly finished with his finds his eyes darting from the movie to that little piece of wood in your mouth, at first fighting the flickers of his gaze but eventually losing. He stared at your lips as his tongue begin to brush and swirl around his own clean stick just thinking of it being yours, or better yet your own tongue.

Eddie could feel himself start to salivate at the idea, pressing his tongue harder against the wood Eddie imagined all the little sounds you'd make when he had you pressed against the wall gasping for air. God, he craved those lips, even more now with the sugar coating them. His pants begin to tighten,

You suddenly look over to him after feeling the gaze burn into you, "everything good?"

Eddie would be so flustered and look away for a moment before reconnecting his eyes with you, "Y-yeah, just wondering if you wanted me to take the stick?" He asked with a feigned innocent smile.

"Thanks, dude," You pass the stick over to him, clean side before turning back to the movie. Eddie stood up and went to the kitchen to find the garage,

However, he stopped once he was out of sight Eddie stared at the stick you've given him with dilated pupils. He quickly checked over his shoulder making sure you were distracted and that he was covered before quickly popping the stick in his mouth and tossing the other one in the trash, briskly walking back and sat down wide-eyed and terribly hiding his nervousness.

Eddie just had his first kiss, with you no less- well, more first indirect kiss, but that still counts!

He could still taste the cherry cheap flavouring on the wood as his tongue desperately cleaned it of any taste of you, anything and everything.

At the end of the night, he would walk back home with that same stick in his mouth, reaching home to put it in a small box of the rest of the things he collected from you. And late at night whenever he could sleep because of the thoughts of you overtaking him, Eddie would pull that same stick and put it in his mouth. Sometimes even toughing himself while still having it in his mouth, just wishing for more of you.

Then Eddie gets a very risky idea, an idea that would satiate his needs. When at your house sitting in your room waiting for you to come back Eddie darted for your clothes basket and started digging through it, searching for one specific item in mind near the bottom he found it. A single pair of pink frilly used underwear,

He shoved it in his pocket before throwing all other clothes back and sitting back down, never in his life was Eddie so scared. He just felt like the moment you walked in he would be caught and everything would be over, but he managed to go home early stating he felt sick.

Back home he pulled out his prize and stared at it almost intimidated, quickly he checked around his room as if someone was hiding and watching him before timidly bringing it to his face and breathing in deep.

Eddie felt like he almost passed out when all the blood rushed downwards,

Between all this time you noticed Eddie was slowly becoming more and more paranoid about your friends, borderline trying to convince you they were all against you. Knowing his problems with people and trauma you just wrote it off as him being caring but overprotective, but soon that 'overprotectiveness' grew into him holding you close every time you were talking to someone.

It wasn't that Eddie believed you to be a possession for him to protect or that you would fall for someone else, but rather he couldn't trust anyone with his diety.
