also like 80% of the time I'm so frustrated at how big American supermarkets are like usually I just want basic foods I don't need five different variations of canned chili, so all these options just mean that when I forget I needed pasta and also milk I'm traversing back and forth across the store an extra twenty minutes because god forbid there aren't thirteen different flavors of chex mix to choose from.... but then sometimes it's like what do you mean there aren't shelves and shelves of red/white/blue candies? where are the holiday M&M's???? but it's America's birthday??

not that I should be expecting a decent 1 person meal from the freezer section, but like why are there no options in between Hungry Jack's Gutbuster 3000 Pound of Cheese Lasagna!!! and ~~slim megan's handful of brown rice with one brococli and three chickpeas lite~~. is it really so much to ask to have both a vegetable present AND a meal-sized portion? is my only option here the family sized bags of stirfry?? like I want a somewhat healthy meal that will fill me up without a ton of leftovers, but 300 calories is SNACK SIZED I want some fucking DINNER and also I want to at least pretend like I'm getting some vitamins.
