This costume was designed by Edith Head for the 1941 film 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑬𝒗𝒆, where it was worn by Barbara Stanwyck as Jean Harrington. The costume was used again by Lizabeth Scott in a promotional photo for either the 1946 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒂 𝑰𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔 or the 1947 𝑰 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝑨𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆. We think this outfit would look just as great today as it would have in the 40s. Would you wear this piece? Comment below or on our website at Bit.ly/PostEd146
