As someone who is both a fanfic writer and an author let me tell you this - being an author is A Job. You have people to report to, tasks to accomplish, deadlines you must keep. Your craft is marketed and managed and it is sold. And you are responsible for every step of that process.
Fanfiction isnt a job.
All the joy and love and mindless nonsense creativity can go there and I report to no one at all. I can talk to the readers in comments, I can satisfy my artistic cravings regardless if there is a functioning plot.
Fanfiction writers are free to be creative whenver and however they choose and no one should ever discredit that because they dont get paid for it. They deserve far more credit than that.
"Ao3 should allow multiple kudos" "I want to be able to leave more than one kudos"
COMMENT ON THE FUCKING FIC
I SWEAR TO GOD NO ONE COMMENTS MUCH NOW WHEN THE ONLY WAY TO SHOW APPRECIATION FOR A SINGLE CHAPTER IS COMMENTING AND I AM NOT HAVING THIS BULLSHIT BE LIKE TIKTOK WHERE NO ONE EVER COMMENTS POSITIVITY
FOR FUCKS SAKE JUST COMMENT ON THE FUCKING FIC YOU DON'T NEED A MULTIPLE KUDOS BUTTON YOU NEED ACTUAL WORDS
TRUST ME ON ANY WEBSITE OR APP I POST COMMENTS AND WORDS ARE 10X BETTER THAN ANY PLAIN LIKE AND WORDLESS REBLOG IF YOU LIKE SOMETHING LEAVE WORDS

Summary: As a netrunner for Yuuei, heists come and go. When intel is
leaked that Ketsubutsu is planning a warehouse raid,
Katsuki finds himself raring to go. But what happens when
the infamous Blood Riot appears?
âKacchan, come in. Do you copy?â
âDamn it, Deku, what have I told you about calling me that stupid-ass nickname?â Katsuki growled out into his comm piece.Â
âSo glad you could join us, Bakugou,â Jirou quipped, and he knew if he could see her face, there would be a sly smirk.
âBite me, Lobes.â It had been his day off, so the team could shove it.Â
âBe nice to Jirou, Bakugou!â Iidaâs annoying-ass voice came through the comm next.Â
âOne more stupid comment from anyone, and Iâm leaving. Yes, that includes you, Icy-Hot.â Thankfully there was static on the other end, meaning that stupid Todoroki had heeded the warning. âWhat do you all want? I could still be sleeping.âÂ
âWe were given intel that Ketsubutsu is planning a raid on the Eastern dock for supplies. Weâre going to need all hands on deck if we plan on beating them. Though, Iâm not sure how reliable this information isâŚâ
âDeku, quit yer rambling.â A heist, huh? Well that certainly was something that got him awake and his blood pumping. âGive me the coordinates and the rendezvous time and I will meet you all there.â He cut the comms after that, a manic grin crossing his face. Things were about to be fun.
***
Katsuki arrived at the rendezvous point early, giving himself a chance to scope out the area and see where the best place to netrun would be. His bike sat a few kilometers away, parked discreetly yet easily accessible if it came time to run. He adjusted his augmented arm, ready to use its firepower if necessary, but hoping it wouldnât come to that.Â
Slowly the others filtered in; Jirou made her appearance but quickly disappeared amongst the trees. Four-Eyes and Icy-Hot rolled in together, more than likely in their armored tank of a van, which meant that Deku was behind doing surveillance and hacking into the mainframe of the warehouse they were gathered around.Â
âDoes everybody copy?â came Deku, and the choruses of âyesesâ were enough to make Katsukiâs blood boil. He was ready for action, damn it.Â
âToshinori-sensei said this should be straightforwardâthe supplies are in the warehouse. All we need to do is make a hole, extract them, and use minimal force. Understood, Bakugou?â Iida commanded to everyone via comms, and Katsuki bared his teeth.Â
âYou hear anything, Lobes?âÂ
âThereâs activity inside the warehouse on the dock, but I canât discern much more than that.â
âWhat about eyes, Nerd?âÂ
âI see a couple of armed guards outside, but I cannot tell if itâs Ketsubutsu already here, or the government.â Both options were shitty, but they could at least be fun.Â
âIida and I will secure the perimeter. Jirou, you be our ears. Midoriya, you be our eyes.â As much as Katsuki hated to hear Todoroki give orders, this was the most logical solution.Â
âSounds like that leaves me going in to do the dirty work. Just how I like it.âÂ
âBe careful, Kacchan. Something seems fishy about this from the get-go.â
âYouâre just being paranoid, Nerd. This should be a piece of cake. Now, letâs get this shit on the road.â
Iida and Todoroki made quick work of the guards outside, which alerted others that were lurking around the dock. The two gunmen lured the rest of the crowd away, much to Katsukiâs delight.Â
He ignored the squawks of protest from Deku as he charged into the warehouse, ready for anything. Or so he thought. A large explosion caught him unaware, the smoke stinging his eyes and causing him to be temporarily blinded in both his augmented eye and his natural one.Â
He went rigid as electricity coursed through his veinsâthe taser that hit him was enough to bring him to the bring of unconsciousness. As he collapsed to the floor, he saw thick-soled boots approaching him and his final thought before the darkness took over was âWhat did I get myself into?â
***
The room was dark when Katsuki came to, groaning groggily and feeling off-kilter. A quick survey of himself found that he was tied to a chairâclassicâand his arm had been detached at some point. Great. Just what he fucking needed. That was a bitch to get after the last heist gone wrong.Â
âOh! Youâre awake! Awesome.â The voice definitely belonged to a woman, and once his eyes adjusted, he took in pink. Pink skin. Pink hair. And was that a pink and green leotard? Holy shit his eyes were hurting just from staring at her. Or, that could be the potential concussion he had going on talking.
âBetter let Boss Man know youâre alive and kickinâ for the day.â She ushered herself out of the room with gusto, and Katsuki found himself more confused than he originally was. Who the hell was Pinky, and who was her boss? Where was he even? And why were his comms jammed?
He scoped out the room, and found himself coming up short on things to be observing. There was a small basin in the corner, which Katsuki assumed was his toilet, and that was about it.Â
Before he could even come up with a plan to see how he could get himself out of this situation, he heard loud footfalls approaching. Straightening himself up, he tried to appear menacing and not all like he was concussed and out of his element as the door swung open and a mountain of a man entered the room.Â
âOh holy fuckâ was all he could think as he took in the long red hair, the crimson eyes, and the serrated grin. It was Blood Riot, in the flesh. For years, he had been on his tail, trying to find him but always being bested at the last minute. And now, here he was, standing in front of Katsuki while he was prisoner to the man. Ironically poetic, in a way.Â
âGlad to see my little treasure is awake.â The red-headed man looked at him like he was a savory snack, which, for all Katsuki knew, that was the case.Â
But damn, was it nice for their cat and mouse game to finally come to an end, even if Katsuki had anticipated being the cat in this instance. Years of near-misses and parting gifts left for one another crescendoed into this fateful meeting. With carmine and garnet locked in an intense stare down.Â
âCat got your tongue, beautiful?â Oh, screw this bastardâhe knew exactly how to get under Katsukiâs skin already.Â
âJust donât have anything to say that will get through the rocks for brains that you have.âÂ
âTsk tsk tsk. Is that any way to talk to your savior?â Savior? Â
âOi! What the hell do you mean by that?â Katsuki was anything but daft, so for Blood Riot to be making such a bold statement had him faltering. Was there something he missed?
âSoon enough, you will see.â The promise was sealed with a shit-eating grin before Katsuki was left to his own devices once again.Â
***
Days passed in the same fashionâwake up to yet another one of Blood Riotâs lackeys in the room watching him, being hand-fed piss-poor dehydrated foods since gods forbid he be allowed to use his own hands, and ending with Blood Riot himself entering the seclusion cell, that awful smirk crossing his face every time.Â
âHowâs my precious doing today?â he asked, sitting on the floor across from Katsuki.Â
âJust fuckinâ peachy, you asshole.â He had to deal with Sparky today, and gods does that man wear on his soul and every nerve.Â
âTsk tsk, Katsuki. You should be more grateful, you know?â There was a pout on the other manâs lips, and for some odd reason, all Katsuki wanted to do was kiss it away.Â
âFor what? Kidnapping me? As if!â he snarked instead, trying to fight off the blush that was threatening to give him away.
âYou've been here almost a week, and there's been neither hide nor hair of any of your colleagues. Don't you find that a bit odd?â That gave Katsuki pause. Sure, he could be a dick, but at least Deku would come searching for himâright?Â
âWhat are you saying?â
âI told youâI'm your savior, Katsuki. A crew that would just part ways with you isn't a crew you want to be a part of. Believe me.â There was something in his eyes that made Katsuki really want to believe him, but he was still skeptical.Â
âWhy should I trust you?âÂ
âBecause I wouldn't lie to you, Katsuki.â And for some gods-forsaken reason, Katsuki found himself actually believing him.
***
It wasn't long after their little heart-to-heart that Katsuki was allowed to be untied. Still not allowed to have his augmented arm, but it was a start.Â
Sparky was his babysitter againâoh joyâbut the one good thing about it was that it was intel gathering time for Katsuki.Â
âThe warehouse attackâwas it really conducted by Ketsubutsu, or was it just a ploy?â Katsuki asked casually while eating. His food had even improved since he was in Blood's good graces. The blond seemed to mull this over while he played with a deck of cards before deciding on his answer.Â
âThatâs the thing. It was a ployâat first. Hanta gave out false intel in a transmission to you guys. But while we were there prepping, others showed up. And it wasnât Ketsubutsu, like we originally thought might have intercepted the message.â
âIf it wasnât them, then who was it?â Katsuki had a sinking feeling at this point.Â
âWe arenât 100 percent sure, but we think it was The League. Thought I saw Shigarakiâs crusty ass lurking about.â Well fuck. That might explain why no one had attempted to reach out to KatsukiâThe League was bad news on a good day.Â
âI want to see Blood Riot,â Katsuki demanded, which gave the Spark Plug pause. He didnât care, though; he needed to make sure his crew was safe, and he was the only one he could trust to do that. There must have been a crazed look to his eye, because the other man did one more once over, then tapped his comm, asking for the boss to enter the room.Â
A few minutes later, his cell door opened, and in entered Blood, looking both confused and concerned. Sparky took his leave of the room, leaving just the two of them locked in an intense staredown.Â
âYou asked for me, Treasure?â There was a weird sort of hope that was in his eyes, one that made Katsuki feel warm inside, but he couldnât focus on that right now.Â
âMy crewâare they alright? Dunce Face told me that The League was involved in the raid. Iâve got to know that theyâre okay.â Katsuki sounded like a broken man, and damn well felt like one.Â
âDamn it, Kaminari,â Blood closed his eyes and swore under his breath. When he opened them, there was a pity that Katsuki didnât like seeing crossing his features.Â
âIâm not sure, to be completely honest with you. Shinsou and Sero have been doing recon, but theyâve not been able to get a ping on them. Iâm hoping that your crew is just really good at covering their traces and itâs not the worst-case scenario.âÂ
Katsuki felt a hollowness filling his chest at Bloodâs words. As annoying as they were, they were still his family. He needed to know they were okay.Â
âPlease, let me use my comm. I need to check on them.â He wasnât above begging at this point. Blood Riot looked wary, but there must have been something in his face that made him reconsider, given the long sigh he exhaled.Â
âKaminari, drop the jammer on Bakugouâs comm,â he said, speaking into his own piece before looking at Katsuki. âPlease donât make me regret this, Treasure. You have five minutes.â A static that Katsuki hadnât realized he missed filled his ears, and he knew just who to contact.Â
âDeku, come in Deku.â He hoped that the nerd could, no would answer.Â
âKacchan?! Is that you?â The breath of relief that escaped Katsuki was one that he would never forget.Â
âAre you okay?â
âShouldnât I be the one asking you that? Youâve been gone for a week with no trace of you. And now you just appear. Does Blood Riot have you? Are you hurt?âÂ
âDeku, please,â Katsuki said, cutting off Midoriyaâs rambling questioning. âIâm fine. Yes, he has me, but no, Iâm not going to tell you where we are.â At this, Bloodâs eyebrow quirked up, and Katsuki fought a blush. âJust tell me that the crew is okay.â There was a prolonged silence that Katsuki didnât like.Â
âWeâre fine, but All Might isnât. When the raid happened, there was also a secondary raid at Yuuei. Kacchan, heâs in a coma. And itâs All For Oneâs fault.â Katsuki felt numb at thisâAll Might was their tutor, helping raise the two of them after they ran away from their respective homes to pursue netrunning. To hear that he was injured made Katsuki want to run away from Blood. Almost.Â
âWhat did the League even want so bad that they would attack us?â Katsuki knew that he was coming upon the time limit, but he had to know.Â
âYou, Katsuki. Shigaraki was pissed to find out you had been nabbed by Riot and his crew.â
âMe?! What are you even talking about?â
âYouâre a prodigy in netrunning. All For One figured he could convert you to their side because of your âviolent nature.ââ Katsuki felt sick. His crew was in dangerâAll Might was hurtâall because of him.Â
âWho is running Yuuei then, now that All Might is out of commission?â He had a sinking feeling he knew what the answer was, but he was hopeful he was wrong.Â
âEndeavor has taken over, much to Todorokiâs chagrin.â Fuck. Endeavor was never a fan of Katsuki, and he couldn't take the chance of going back and putting them in even more danger. He had to do something to protect them.Â
âMidoriya, I want you to listen carefully. Donât speak of our conversation to anyone. As of today, Iâm defecting from Yuuei to join Blood Riotâs crew. Youâre the only one who will have access to my comms, so only contact me if itâs an emergency. And please, stay safe out there.â He was met with silence instead of protests like he imagined would happen.Â
âPlease be safe, Katsuki.âÂ
âYou too, nerd.â His comms were cut, and he sat there defeated. He looked up at Riot, who looked back at him with a mixture of heartbreak and hopefulness across his features.Â
âDo you really mean it? Youâre joining my crew?âÂ
âYeah, I really mean it. I have nowhere else to go. I trust no one else, either.â
âYou trust me?â The question gave Katsuki pause. Did he actually trust this man, or was it part of being his prisoner? The more he mulled it over, the more he realized that he really did trust him. Riot didnât have to let him contact Deku. He didnât have to improve his imprisonment conditions. And he sure as hell didnât have to let him join his crew.Â
âI do, Red. I really do.â Katsuki felt himself being drawn into the manâs very presence. He lifted himself from the seat and stepped toward him, his resolve firming with each step.Â
âIâm glad you trust me, My Treasure.â The look in Riotâs eyes fueled the desire that was starting to engulf Katsuki. As soon as he was toe to toe with the bigger man, he reached up, cupping the back of his neck and pulling him down for a kiss.Â
Katsuki knew that this was foolish and fast, but as their lips moved against one anotherâs, he found himself not giving a flying fuck. Riotâs hands encircled his hips, pulling him closer, and Katsuki knew what was coming next, and he found himself looking forward to it.Â
âCome, My Treasure. Letâs go to my room.â
âWhatever you say, Riot.â
âPlease, call me Eijirou.â The soft smile on his face was mirrored by the bashful one on Katsukiâs as he found himself taken from the seclusion cell to Riotâno, Eijirouâs room. As the door shut behind them, Katsuki knew he was ready for whatever was to come.Â
***
The next morning found Katsuki yawning loudly and stretching, popping his joints. There was a dull ache in his body, but nothing unpleasant or foreign to him. Eijirou was still sleeping, his body a furnace. There were a few things that he thought of that he could do to wake the larger man up, but he settled on kissing him once and nudging him awake.Â
âMorninâ Ei,â he whispered as the other man woke up, blinking at him like he was seeing the sun for the first time.Â
âGood morning, My Treasure.â He pulled Katsuki down for a longer kiss, and Katsuki had to pull away before he found himself distracted too much and wanting to do nothing but stay in bed with his lover. He needed to integrate himself into the crew, and that wouldnât happen from where they currently were.Â
âI guess we should probably get you up and showered,â Eijirou stated, as if he was able to read Katsukiâs mind. They left the room for the bathroom, where hands ended up wandering more than they should, keeping them in there for far longer than Katsuki anticipated.Â
Once they were both dressed, Katsuki followed Eijirou to the common area, where the rest of the crew were seated about.Â
âKatsuki, meet your new colleagues officially. This is Ashido Mina,â he said, pointing to the pink nightmare, who grinned at him slyly. âOver there is Hitoshi Shinsou and Kaminari Denki.â Kaminari was seated on Shinsouâs lap, who looked exhausted to be alive. âAnd this is Sero Hanta.â The tall man threw him a wave.Â
âEveryone, this is Bakugou Katsuki. Heâs joining our crew officially.â
âFinally! Does that mean we can finally get out of this town? My skin has been crawling since weâve been here, especially with Shigaraki and co lurking about,â Kaminari asked, and Katsuki wondered where they would go if they didnât stick around Mustafu.Â
âI think thatâs a great idea. We need to get Katsuki off The Leagueâs radar anyway. Sero?âÂ
âGotcha, Boss.â Sero replied, leaving the room, which confused Katsuki to no end.Â
âOkay everyone, pack up. We will be rolling out in 30.â Everyone dispersed quickly, leaving just Katsuki and Eijirou in the common area.Â
âIsnât this your hideout? Why are we abandoning it?â Katsuki asked as he followed Eijirou, who had started toward his room.Â
âThis place? No, itâs just a temporary stakeout point. Youâll see where home is soon enough, Treasure.â Katsuki was even more confused at that, but decided to just roll with the punches. Speaking of punchesâŚ
âWhen do I get my arm back?âÂ
âOh, I forgot we still had that. Hold on.â He tapped his comm, asking Mina to bring the augmentation to the back door of the warehouse they were in.Â
They all met up at the back door a few minutes later, Mina handing him his arm. Katsuki was reattaching his arm as the hangar door opened, unveiling a gigantic hovership. Katsuki felt his jaw drop to the groundâhow did he never see this in the years they chased one another?
âWelcome to Crimson Riot, our home.â There was pride in Eijirouâs eyes, and Katsuki felt a thrill of excitement shoot through him. This really was it, wasnât it? As soon as he stepped foot on this ship, his life would change. But he found himself ready for the change. His fingers intertwined with Eijirouâs as they stepped on the deck of the ship, and Katsuki was ready to see where his new adventure would take him, with his lover by his side.

âCassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed and put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through the thin fabric. She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards.â
