But if you find yourself frustrated with the people working with you on something to the point you feel the need to guilt-trip them, take a step back and think about ways in which you could make people feel more motivated/less dejected; come up with strategies to keep morale high through inevitable hiccups and failures. Sometimes you simply don't have the right people working for you, but I think a lot of times, people think pure passion will carry them to success in activism, but it's not passion alone that makes a good leader. If you get good at making people feel like their efforts matter, like they are valuable, and that the bad times can be weathered, you'll be able to transmit your passion to others, and that's essential in an area that inherently requires teamwork.
