Top recommendations: "On the Move" by Oliver Sacks, "The Great Believers" by Rebecca Makkai, "Less" by Andrew Sean Greer, "Stoner" by John Williams, "Song of Solomon" by Toni Morrison, "The Bullet Journal Method" by Ryder Carroll, "The Marriage of Opposites" by Alice Hoffman, "The Library Book" by Susan Orlean, "The Heart's Invisible Furies" by John Boyne, "The Electric State" by Simon Stålenhag, "The Art of Gathering" by Priya Parker, and "Kindred" by Octavia E. Butler. For a beautiful graphic novel, I recommend "The Provocative Colette" by Annie Goetzinger.

I also read the children's book "Big Cat, Little Cat" by Elisha Cooper, which was excellent! (But do not look at the back cover first because it spoils a major plot point. I'm serious.)

The others on the list were all enjoyable too. Anyone got any "must read" recommendation for 2020? :-)
