Lessons learned: spray paint doesn’t play well with cheap faux leather. It doesn’t dry properly because something something oils in the plastic leach and cause the paint to do weird sticky stuff. SO a little acetone rub, some cornstarch, and a re-paint with acrylic, we just need all the lil greeblie bits added. bonus: the aftermath of painting dcom costumes at an airsoft field because I’m a ~busy gal~ and didn’t have running water at the field lmao

the back of Evie’s jacket didn’t originally have the green racing stripes, but…..local theater politics happened. (I added adjustable lace up side panels that the costume assistant removed, and then!!! Shockingly!! It was too tight!! So instead of adding the matching, cute panels back in, she added extra space in the back. In bright green. Sigh.)
