the “big beautiful bill” gutting medicaid snap and other social programs for underprivileged americans & giving the rich bigger tax breaks has been passed. ICE is being given the budget of 170 billion, & it is likely going to be signed by the president on “independence day”. politicians have always been corrupt, but they have very rarely made it so blatantly clear that they do not represent the PEOPLE & our taxes are being funneled to corporate interests & making our own lives worse.

between “alligator Alcatraz” and the bill passing, its days like these that make me leave my atheism at the door and hope there is judgement in the afterlife for these people, as i fear karma is not finding them fast enough in this one

not to commend white men too much but somehow the front line of defense actively calling out the government & fascism is our late night talk show hosts. like I’m genuinely proud of them putting their careers on the line to consistently stand up for us & speak out when it feels like for too many r remaining silent

I just want marvel to know it’s not too late (it’s literally never too late) to reveal that endgame steve rogers was an imposter (a skrull, hydra, etc)

sucks bc instead of having steve mope about an old woman dying in a SNAP!! support group they could have explored his survivors guilt. how he wanted to be the one that died, instead of having to watch his best friend leave twice. how he feels about dragging sam into this mess in the first place, how he never told him how much it all meant to him. we could have had steve dropping the shield one last time to drag bucky into his arms when he finally came back to him. anyways
