This au is under the assumption that Zanya and Cele were adopted together by the Ariidek family after Ekta gave them up. Then, Lioran would take them in after the family had been eliminated during his excursion to Alderaan -- so the Baize family had two daughters instead of one. This might've made him more inclined to treat them as his children rather than his proteges, but he still trained both of them to eventually become Sith and the living weapons he was convinced they were.

Cele's inherent mastery of the Force made her a prime pupil for Lioran. She was a child prodigy with a fine control and sense for the minute that would make any Sith quake in their boots even at barely six, but Zanya's capability with combat pitted him directly against her because of how physically talented he was with a blade. They each had their weaknesses, but their strengths were what made them so appealing. However, Lioran turned his attention towards Zanya as the twins got older, cultivating him for an early entrance to the Sith academy. Cele was falling behind in her combat skills, more likely to rely on the intangible and faltered in the ring time and time again. Her smarts couldn't do her any good if she was dead before the fight started, and seeing her chance to be something great slipping out of her fingers, a fourteen year old Cele would go on to challenge Zanya after she would find out Lioran's plans when she snuck into his office. She was incredibly jealous that all the work she was doing might mean nothing at all, and the fury of a girl wronged is one no one wants to cross.

What should have been a friendly spar turned into a fight for the death even the Baize family minders couldn't stop between the two teenagers. With an unbreakable rage towards her brother for stealing what she thought was her's, she proceeded to almost kill him in the ring because Zanya wouldn't land a real blow on her, confused the entire time at what was happening. Because of his bewilderment, Cele flew out of control and would nearly gouge out his eye, and went as far to nearly choke him to death with her own bare hands. It was at this point Lioran himself stepped in to stop her, though not before Zanya would nearly have his windpipe crushed.

Cele would win the day though, and her father would crown her as his new apprentice within the week, looking to speed her into the Academy before her twenty first birthday (if anything, to redirect that fury to something other than those in the compound). Zanya's inability to fight back to the same caliber caused Lioran to think less of him, and it eventually landed him into being exiled at the age of fifteen once he recovered from his injuries and refused to fight his sister again. He was genuinely terrified of her, and Lioran couldn't force him in any way that wouldn't result in him breaking down and disappearing into the Force. He was sent to another Lord on Balmorra for the rest of his training, but due to the fighting there between the Empire and Republic, he would be discovered by one Ekta Wren, master of the Jedi Order, who would bring him back to the Republic base there after his master was killed.

Cele doesn't regret what she did. Not really. She would still take the opportunity to kill him even today (class story present), and is has an unshakable superiority complex as a result. Makes her very, very arrogant, but she does have the power to back it up usually. Zanya lives in fear of the event still, even if he has nothing really to fear on Tython. He still feels like he let his father down and regrets it, even if he was the one that exiled a teenager for being too weak to fight his own sister. It colors his worldview as never quite being enough, for his family or the Jedi. Ekta makes up for that some, as in this universe, she recognizes him right away with the wolf pendant around his neck and far too young of eyes looking to her for guidance. She isn't exactly kind to him, but he's the first padawan she takes in nearly twenty years, so that has to count for something.

Osiris also disappeared a few years prior to the beginning of the class story. As one of the youngest field agents Intelligence ever had, he was the apple of a few watchers' eyes, but they never found him after a mission went sideways. Both twins are pretty convinced he's also dead, and they grieve their brother in their own ways.

(Little do they know, he certainly isn't dead, he's just a prisoner of war for a few years. And eventually reappears as a member of Havoc Squad during the explosion of war again on Corellia).
