an unofficial-official reference page for A'lea haha

She is the the first child of my Sith Inquisitor, Altrethir, and Theron Shan. Post-canon, Altrethir has created his own faction of Inquisitors on the planet Ossus. A'lea was raised among them, but then left in her early teens. She traveled first to Odessen, where she trained with Commander Lana Beniko for another year before venturing to Coruscant. Though not Jedi, and definitely not Sith, the Republic has accepted her as concerns of Altrethir's works have sprouted in recent S.I.S. reports.

Her design has stayed fairly consistent through the years I've had her. But for this Future!AU, i wanted to give her a fit that I could draw potentially many times if I ever wanted to make a storyboard/comic panels from the fic itself. I wanted her outfit to be something like that of a vampire hunter, drawing inspiration from Alucard from Castlevania (as she is sort of an Alucard-esque character herself. something something "my father must be stopped" lol) and even Richter Belmont from Nocturne.

If i asked yall if you'd like to contribute some character designs for the future!au, would yall be interested?

Specifically for Altrethir’s Inquisitors. Not quite Sith, but they definitely draw from the Dark Side. The faction as a whole is focused on researching and pushing the known limitations of the Force (as well as a general love and respect for history and culture). Clothing and gear is gothic-inspired. Lots of black, shades of gray and silver, deep reds, blues and purples.

All k9 dogs are abused hands down if you post any pro k9 stuff on my dash you’re unfollowed I don’t care if we’ve been mutuals for years, you can claim to be anti-cop or a leftist or whatever but if you post k9 dogs with like “a good doggo! It’s ALSO worth saying that police dogs serve a significant role in worsening police brutality. A dog trained to attack a human will maim them. A cop looses a police dog on someone, and that person is expected to peacefully cooperate while a dog is trying to tear their limbs off. It is very easy for those massive wounds to get infected. It is an absurd amount of violence. And beyond the initial attack, the fact that a “poor sweet innocent doggo” did this is used to excuse that brutality in court. Especially if the victim, panicking in the moment, lashed out at the dog. As this website has demonstrated many times, majority-white juries have more sympathies for injured dogs than the people of color who are most often victims of police brutality. So they’re not just systemic animal abuse, they’re also a tool for increased police brutality and to excuse

i think a lot of (white) people just really don't realize how fucking terrifying and dangerous these animals are and while i understand the animal welfare angle, i think any discussion about police dogs should be focused first and foremost on their role as living weapons

yes, there are some aninal welfare concerns but even if the dogs were treated like royalty they would still need to be abolished
