what troubles me with the whole dragon age franchise is the lack of visual continuity... and especially DAV feels extremely modern, even though 30 years have passed since the first game it just feels like a whole different world lol

So I'm drawing Aaxa here following DAV's design logic but something in me is upset about it... like this is too modern!!!

#goodmorning socialprawn army #i still retain the same thoughts as yesterday but i will say drawing this year whether seriously or not has never been more fun in my life #so i have to acknowledge this also #and ive been doing stuff ive never COMPLETED before so maybe this ache is more of growing pains and realising my skills (or lack thereof)#in some areas i havent explored befooooreee #like... COMICS #and i wanna draw more silly stuff like this like... what's the prawblem

before i sleep thoughts... ill be for real i need to gain back the grandiose dreams that I'm able to achieve Anything with my art like when I was younger. It does good to dream......... I just find my capacity for it to be a little unstable

maybe it's because I'm actually drawing like Actual comics now (in the background), but I can see how much I hold myself back with my skills when i draw each panel lol. It drives me nuts. It's like I've taken the passenger's seat in the one thing I RLY love doing

And I tell u what, people tell me that with my art style I can get away with a lot. It feels relieving for the most part, but the critic inside me goes "but don't you want to be GREAT?!" And it upsets me cos I realise how much work is needed to get there. Never satisfieeddd. I wanted to publish stories since 2015 and it's been 11 years... will this self-judgement ever be satisfied?! PROBS NAH

Hi! was wondering if you're gonna do artfight this year and if yes, is agape gonna be on there?

Hmm I don't really know yet... Honestly artfight is a lot of fun but it does stress me out. I get overwhelmed with a sense of responsibility and I end up not participating like I'd have liked😔 Someone talk me into it....... I'll consider the options........

Maybe if I use a simpler art style it would make things easier for me because drawing other people's characters is literally one of my favourite things tew do (○｀ 3′○)

For now it's just Moira and Thom (Archived some other OCs because the art is too outdated and I cba to freshen it up) I can add Agape if I participate 🤔
