and nine pauses; just a half second, and theron screws his eyes shut because he doesn't want to do this right now.

actually, if he had any say in the matter, he never wants to do this.

but instead of pulling away or freezing up or any number of the things theron has racing through his head,

cipher nine's hands find his shoulders, shove him against the crumbling rock behind him, and then teeth graze across the words on theron's neck, and theron bites back a groan; leaning his head back against the wall.

this is going to be the death of him, theron is almost entirely sure.
