so many cool character designs i would love to make but would hate wearing for whatever reason and the likelihood of anyone ever commissioning these niche faves is 0.00001% .... either i need to get into making cosplays for bjds or i need to make youtube videos of how i would hypothetically cosplay this character maybe with like a smaller scale sample of the key skill/technique that interests me. or just like start making characters in vroid. or all three

"make it exist first, make it good later" is a great attitude for making clothes if and only if you are comfortable doing copious amounts of seam ripping. it's good advice for avoiding perfectionism when you go in prepared 👍 (don't be afraid of unpicking but also pick your battles carefully.. know your fabrics and your seam allowances, if it can withstand unpicking just go wild but if it's a delicate fabric, prone to fraying or a difficult pattern shape to adjust then maybe like hold fire and make a toile first)

i drew that in the wrong version of sai btw. i opened up sai 1 and didn't notice even tho the ui was 50% smaller than it should be and 90% of the layer blend modes were missing and all my custom brushes were gone. i was just like damn ok i guess all the bluescreening lately has done a number on my software but oh well i'll roll with it
