swoobat is the best bat pokemon because it finally makes the right choice to conflate bats with the concept of love.
i think accelgor and escavalier might be the singular instance in all of my pokemon tier lists where i'm giving them such a low ranking simply because i don't like the actual mechanics and concept surrounding them. every other time it's because i think they look bad or because i've built a whole elaborate narrative surrounding them, but this time it's really just that simple.
