Luckily for coffee drinkers everywhere, more farms are beginning to produce the gesha variety. In 2007, Rigoberto Herrera and Luis Eduardo Herrera began to grow the varietal on some of their farm in Colombia after extensively researching the varietal. The brothers employ only experienced female works to harvest the coffee cherries by hand and pay them a daily wadge, as opposed to a weight based wadge, to allow them to take their time in selecting only the best cherries. It is our privilege to offer Rigoberto Herrera and Luis Eduardo Herrera's Gesha “Paraiso” Micro-lot at our two locations as well as our website. It has pronounced floral aroma and a distinct clarity in the cup. Creamy body, and brilliant acidity with flavors of black tea, milk chocolate, and tropical fruits.
