Hello and welcome to the Inner Kin Collective! My name is Q and this is my little corner of tumblr. This is a safe space to discuss DID/OSDD/BPD/CPTSD/trauma and everything related to mental health.
Though I am not the original host of our system, I have been the host for about 26 years or so and am comfortable here. In my own memory, I was born and raised in the hills and hollers of northeastern Kentucky, raised mostly by my granny. When I was about 8-10 and Echo (the original host) was about 6, I took over full time to protect her from the abuse we suffered at the hands of our mother.
Since then, we have had a succesful career in the arts and I am going back to school to work as a mental health professional, specializing in queer mental health, religious trauma, and dissociative/personality disorders. I am also studying to be a priest in an inclusive and affirming church
NOTE: I am a religious trauma holder, as I know many others are as well. For that reason, religion WILL NOT be discussed publicly on this blog. I am available for any persons/parts who wish to discuss that topic via PM.
In my free time I enjoy playing and listening to music (I play a mixture of Appalachian folk with midwest emo with a little punk grit sprinkled on top). I also enjoy kayaking, hiking/camping, and outdoor concerts though I'm also good to snuggle up on the couch and binge a tv show with some crappy pizza.
I'm polyamorous and partnered (x1) and live in upstate New York with my fiancé and our dog. I am a HUGE flirt and am open to casual conversations via DM. However, I want this to be a safe space for everyone (including littles), so I won't engage in seggsual conversations in public. Please keep all things related to this topic private.
Inside the system, I am a protector/guardian. I was formed to be a big sister for Echo and was influenced heavily by our older sister. Because of this, I act very much like a big sister to most of the people in my life.

-Red foxes. This animal is my personality. I'm mischievous and fun
This blog exists with the consent of the others in the Collective, though most are uncomfortable being on here. While some may eventually have their own blogs, for now they will post in different colored text and sign their posts. They plan to do introductions soon.
