I think that part of what irks me about AI being used even for "small" stuff like meme graphics (aside from all the larger problems obviously) is like.... the time spent on it was part of the humor. "this is a silly inconsequential joke but I had to stop everything and spend 5 minutes making it" was, at least for me, part of the joke. Someone really took time out of their day to make me look at something silly they took time out of their day to make. Now it's like someone took time out of my day to make me look at something no one even made. Stop wasting my time if you aren't wasting yours too.

Given that Clark and Pete both have surprisingly deep benches of quality love interests despite having a clear winner, if throuple was an option, who'd you pick for second love interest? Bonus points: someone who wasn't canonically presented as a love interest also.

I am probably DIRECTLY the wrong person to ask this question.

With one major, pony shaped exception I'm not much of a shipper. I tend to get very attached to CANON relationships, like Garnet from Steven Universe, Catra and Adora from She-Ra: POP and Fern and Izzy from Power Rangers Dino Fury. And I would certainly say that Clark x Lois and Peter x MJ are part of that. And especially in this case it comes down to my age.

Clark and Lois' marriage is older than I am, and in every Superman comic I've ever read I have NEVER seen a future in any of his other relationships. Not with Lana, not with Lori, Not with Diana (*shiver*), nobody. Superman and Lois Lane isn't a ship, it's fucking gravity, a fundamental force of the universe, I couldn't imagine them not together if I tried.

And Peter x MJ holds an unchanging place in my heart especially because of the way Peter has been left to spin his wheels ever since they've been broken up. It's so obvious to everyone with two working eyes in their head that the best way to get Peter out of the creative rut he's been in for the last 20 years is to fix his marriage and let him grow as a person. But they won't. and the more obstinate Marvel is about this, the more my mind and soul insist upon it.
