frank is fine he’s not really my type but i enjoy his comic run it’s w matt a lot. his relationship with elektra just made no sense. it was thunderbolts w one female team member who they had to make sure was having sex with someone and it really didn’t matter who it was. if it hadn’t have been frank, it would’ve been literally any other man on the team, if it hadn’t been elektra, it would’ve been any other woman they put in the comic. it has no relation to who either of them actually are as characters. the one think frank/elektra gave me was that i didn’t have to watch her have a romance with fucking deadpool

elektra’s not really the casual hookups type, as in.. she’s not at all. the only casual hookups she has is w her college ex boyfriend who bought her back to life with the power of love which when you put it like that, isn’t that casual

she’s not a people person whatsoever, she doesn’t open herself up to others, particularly people who she has no reason to trust or even like because frank was a bit of a prick in thunderbolts. wolverine, who is arguably her only friend, is a guy she sees maybe once a year so to me, anyone who honestly thinks she’s keeping up a relationship with a guy she’s on a team with on a daily basis is just missing the point. my girl is a chronic avoider. she’ll come help if your identity is made public and everyone wants to arrest you but other than that. you aren’t getting a text back

they have nothing in common other than killing people, which they both have VASTLY different reasons for, and matt murdock which just like…. why don’t you both just go bother him instead of this whole mess. and the punisher isn’t exactly a catch????? at least matt has a job????

she’d dated 2 people seriously before this, the aforementioned power of love dude and another very nice, sweet guy who she had to watch die and i just can’t reconcile her previous taste in men with…. the fuckin punisher like. he’s not the guy babe

the whole relationship was based on sex and hookups and she’s just not… the character for. i know men love to write her and draw her in sexy outfits being provocative but it just doesn’t fit her like… she’s traumatised and doesn’t see the value in 99% of the world, she throws herself into her job because the life she was meant to have was taken from her. she’s died twice and people think she’s come back to life to bang the punisher. i would stay dead
