she's a nice person and already is so patient with me, i shouldn't take advantage of that

she likes me and tells me she respects me even though she's definitely heard about my past

and a lot of it is jeanne-marie's fears and previous experience speaking, and also just seeing how sweet and genuine and considerate dazzler is, aurora would feel guilty about scaring her off

not just because alison tolerates jeanne-marie, accepts her wholly and unconditionally, is receptive --

but because dazzler is unabashedly and unashamedly in love with her and down bad for jeanne-marie, while somehow also being respectful of aurora's need for space and room to breath and quiet time, so alison also has so much love and care to offer just because, she sees jeanne-marie beaubier as someone fun and lovely worth getting to know and someone she loves talking to, so of course she's going to reach out often, and also appreciate when aurora reaches out

it's a rare relationship where neither of them have to beg to be remembered or for more effort and initiation, they both initiate and they both can expect to be remembered, and they both don't judge the other for being too much because frankly, them being too much is exactly why they like each other anyway

sure, their intensities can also make things volatile and mercurial at times, conflicts and misunderstandings still ensue because they're both busy women who go through a lot and management of their disorders is a non linear ongoing process, but the thing about being with each other is that both aurora and dazzler are allowed to make mistakes and learn together, neither of them is the "responsible one" because they both care about each other and learn each other's signs and tells and comfort zones and triggers, and neither of them want to fix the other, they like each other as they are
