Justice isn't so sure about bring a depowered Rich along with them into battle but Rich is correct that he is kinda the only one that knows what is going on with Saal... but he is wrong that Thrasher was just some guy, dude trained like multiple hours a day for years and has special armor, Rich is lazy and is wearing a flannel on top of a band tee.

So Vlox here is actually like, the Dire Wraith matricarch... and she has captured Saal and plans to use him to destroy the Earth, but also to pull all of her children back out of Limbo...

The New Warriors and their Super-Orgies

to no one's surprise, throwing himself off a building doesn't bring his removed powers back, and he is only saved by the timely intervention of Turbo.

Since Rich's own book got canceled, we have to wrap up his story in the New Warriors book.

Because last time he lost his powers, being thrown off a building helped him get them back, Rich thinks "hey! let's try that again!" ignoring the fact that this time his powers were forcefully removed, whereas last time they just kinda faded a bit because he left Xandar...

Because they are writing Rider to not just be a huge prick but also incompetent, he "accidentally" fires on Saal, which allows a Dire Wraith, a perfect shapeshifter that wants to kill everyone on earth, to escape.

The Dire Wraith is coming along with Rich on the ship taking him home... but he gets found out before they land, and the whole thing starts going to hell.

Honestly, Richard is pretty much entirely in the wrong here, and Saal has every right to treat him like this... and also he is doing an amazing job of making himself just an incredibly unlikeable character despite being the main character of the book.

This book obviously has not been selling like they hoped; all of the New Warrior offshoot books are coming to an end or already have, and this is our last Nova book.

I wasn't joking about Sabra throwing herself at Vance this whole story... btw.

I guess the point of all this is supposed to be Vance rediscovering his faith? I dunno, I'm just not feeling it...

Rina is gonna be important to a chunk of the upcoming New Warriors book in their last arc... as we see her shunt forward, and finds herself in a superhero costume, surrounded by the New Warriors.

So this is Rina Patel, a mutant with the ability to shunt herself forward and back through time, but only in her own body, so she can only go back as far as she has been alive and as far forward as she will survive...

Yikes! Though Angel got a point that it has been super creepy that Sabra, the adult who had a like 10-year-old kid, has been making kissy faces at Vace, the teenager, this whole storyline...
