There's so much implied by the existence of this horse. It's made of mammoth ivory; hunting a mammoth requires coordinated human effort. Then there's the skills and tools involved in cutting the ivory itself. The shape of the horse is highly life-like and well-muscled, implying a society that spent a lot of time around horses, meaning rest, relaxation, and safe observation of the natural world. And most wonderful of all, someone thought a horse was worth spending all that time and effort to sculpt.
