I don't know how to explain it coherently but Dean is an empathetic person who uses a pragmatic mask to try and convince himself that he is unaffected so he doesn't have a breakdown whereas Sam is a pragmatic person who uses an empathetic mask to force himself to be affected because he could easily just move on if needed and they're both trauma responses and it's also the reason why they fundamentally misunderstand each other all the time

So we all know by now that Dean canonically makes Cas watch cowboy movies with him.

Now consider that because Dean is so out of touch with pop culture and stuff that one day they’re looking for a new movie together and they see Brokeback Mountain and Dean is like “oh yeah didn’t Claire compare our Halloween costumes last year to that movie? Maybe we should watch it”

So they watch it and they both just sort of like stiffen up in their chairs and death stare the tv. And then when the movies over they just sit in silence not looking at each other for like twenty minutes before they both get up to leave at the same time and bump into each other and they do that weird little dancy thing you do when you run into someone and then they each retreat into their rooms and don’t talk or make eye contact for the next three days

I do not go here but something has apparently happened in Supernatural world and I really wanna know what (have been trying to figure it out unsuccessfully)

alright let's create a timeline:

2020 There is a supernatural fan on the dev team of TLOU 2, and as a nod to her the writing team adds an easter egg letter written by Jensen Ackles which Ellie can find in the ruins of a Seattle Comic Con (x).

2023 Misha tweets about the easter egg. Now this isn't necessarily anything significant because it's Misha and he likes to create chaos and tweet about anything that mentions his name, but then Jensen responds? Ok that raises the stakes since usually he's not on twitter to respond to Misha's whims. Also notable is that Jensen auditioned for the part of Joel but didn't get it, so he definitely wants to be involved.

2025 On the release date of TLOU season 2 the official cw_supernatural facebook account changes its header and profile picture. They do the same on instagram and post a promo for the new season. There is no known affiliation with HBO, this is the supernatural account. Why are they posting TLOU promos. None of the other CW accounts are, the only possible link is the jenmish cameo in Seattle.

So naturally we've all collectively piled into our clown car and we're headed for the cliff and that's what's going on on the dash rn :)
