A crunchy, healthy snack that tastes like the tropics and is full of sugar. It's easy to make these dried banana chips, which you can eat on the go or add to your favorite recipes.
Ingredients: 6 ripe bananas. 1 lemon, juiced.
Instructions: Peel the bananas and slice them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. Dip the banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning and to add a tangy flavor. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on dehydrator trays, ensuring they are not touching each other. Set the dehydrator temperature to 135F 57C and dehydrate the banana slices for 6-8 hours, or until they are crispy. Once dried, remove the banana chips from the dehydrator and let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
