Ladies, this #Suffragette was one of thousands who have fought for your right to vote today! So don't waste it. Disenfranchisement of #women in the #UnitedStates lasted until 1920. In #Britain, it took the #Suffragettes 63 years of activism before Britain finally extended suffrage to women in 1928. However, suffrage (the right to vote) for #Muslim women is as old as the religion of #Islam itself. Women's active suffrage and participation in the #political decision-making process have been around for more than 1,400 years. Not only does Islam protect women's right to political participation but it also provides the right to be nominated to a political position. Historically, Muslim women have played a significant role in political discussions and even argued with the #Prophet #Muhammad ﷺ himself. Women were provided several political and societal responsibilities. Your family is like the softness of the water, helping you across, making your journey easy for you. Be careful not to get too caught up in the comfort of the water and drown yourself .. Nor be overwhelmed by currents pulling you towards other directions. Swim in a straight line towards your goal. That would be your simple most selfish desire. And that is expected of you at a bare minimum. For that is why you were created. But for those who seek to excel in life, who aim to please their #Lord not for #Heaven alone, make a #difference to this world by building swim suits for those around them, by putting up warning signs of dangers ahead, of rigorous currents and dangerous areas, all the while swimming their own #battle towards their #destiny.

What is #Love? The Arabs say Love is of ten levels: I - العلاقه - Alaaqah This is basic #attachment. The #beloved is #desired. It is love at its first stage. II - الإرادة - Iraadah Like a Mureed, the beloveds company is now desired. III - الصبابة - Sabaabah This is like #water falling - hence correlates to the western "Falling in love"; the stage at which one begins to lose control over their actions with regards to their beloved. IV - الغرامة - Gharaama This is used to describe something indefinite; The desire to be with the beloved all the time.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Hurayrah said “When #Ramadan would come, the #Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say, Verily, the month of Ramadan has come to you all.
