I Have No Tail and I Must Wag.

My therapist encouraged me to rest and rest I have. I caught up on missed sleep today, I basically just slept all day until 9 o clock tonight, waking up briefly to attend my appointment. I took the dogs for a walk around 10:30. I'm going to just shower and call it a night.

I feel kind of numb now, like I have to keep reminding myself to keep up with life, do chores, eat. But I think I'm just grieving still.

The funeral will be next week, but they're not sure when. It will probably be in a different state so it is unlikely I'll be able to attend. There is a candlelight vigil on Wednesday, which I also won't be able to attend, but the flowers I sent last night are at the site. They're asking attendants to wear bright colors, so I'm glad I picked a bright bouquet. It's just so fitting for her, she radiated joy.

I am going to send flowers to the funeral. Hyacinths. They represent sport, joy, and playfulness. I think they are perfect for her.
