it's so crazy the level of Noise people seem to be totally cool with like they'll have the tv on blaring mission impossible 47 on 1000+ volume dolby digital surround sound subwoofers rattling the windows while somebody's in the kitchen making a smoothie with frozen rocks in it and also there's a five car pileup happening right outside the door with bystanders screaming and sobbing and sirens blaring and a busted fire hydrant blasting everywhere and a pack of feral neighborhood dogs coming to play and bark in the hydrant water and they start mauling a child on the sidewalk and then the ambulance rolls up and then the neighbor starts setting off pipe bombs in his backyard and the air raid sirens go off and then they'll just turn to you and be like hey i'm talking to you. did u even hear me just now 😡 why are you so distracted

wowwwwwwww this male character I'm a fan of is so weak and incompetent, he's a woman to me. not actually a woman though. that’s icky. let men be feminine. like. when someone says something misogynistic about a character the character isn’t actually the one suffering from misogyny. it’s the people they interact with when they’re being misogynistic about the character who have to deal with that.

still wild to me that the first response I got to this post, within a day of making it, was blaming transgender women for this. i tried wording the original post in a way it would be clear this was about people who would talk about male characters as feminine men without ever accepting transfemininity, but people are soooo eager to throw transfems under the bus.
