You can call me Murphy, Sidney or VV (they/it), I'm in my 30s. I run @utmvarchive and mod for @thevioletbanquetutmvrp's Discord server. UTMVarchive is a blog for cataloguing and saving original posts of UTDR aus, and the Violet Banquet is a UTMV community that hosts official and unofficial group rps.

I've also had a backup account since a termination scare, so @verdantviridity and @viridverdure have the same setup as @humunanunga (for original posts) and @irreyre (for reblogs). Reposts shouldn't be showing up in tags, but they'll all be tagged as #rerun for filters.

oh my god, the master copy of my doc got too big to continue. 💀

I've been saving all my post-event rps as Ridwan in there too, so none of their character development between events could be missed out on; so I thought I'd group them by season, right? and June's this Monday (meaning, expect TVB Night Ⅱ to be up on AO3 on Twosday), so I decided it was time to make a new tab for Ridwan's summer rps.

so... I had to split it, and this is now reflected in the public copies.

It's a really funny coincidence that Uto has so much in common with Ridwan and they happen to look like alternates of XAsriel and XChara when put next each other, especially considering none of that was on purpose.

We weren't spoiling any of Ridwan's backstory when @arenxymoth got Utoverse involved in TVB's plot, and none of us knew Utoverse's lore prior afaik.

Just by happenstance, we were given this perfect foil for the mascot of TVB.

I get so ill thinking about they could've been family to each other if Uto didn't choose the evil sibling dynamic of knowing better than anyone how to bully the other, like invading their room and outing all their baggage to their new friends just to make a game out of needling them.

And depending on how you count it, they'd both be the baby sibling.

Uto Verse just outed to Jightmare– the first new friend Ridwan had started opening up to about what they are– the reason they carry so much grief.

I've been foreshadowing a certain technicality to Ridwan's powers, and @arenxymoth plays a deity who's way too good at knowing too much, so I've been corresponding with him how we could drop that bombshell via Uto.

This will tie into the next secret route's lore cache, but since that one will be focused on answering other questions, this technicality just answers the how.

one thing I haven't gotten critiqued on yet but that I can see looming on the horizon, is that I really like to have main characters who are non-human and autistic-coded. and I've seen the conversations about how it's not actually all that validating to have "autistic rep" if the character in question is just an alien or a robot or whatever, and I actually do agree with that (for real!), but unfortunately I want to be a creature so so bad, I just really really want to be a creature. or like a little gnome or bug or something. so a good number of my autistic self inserts will just be awful fuck ass creatures and I apologize for that.
