The queue should be back up and running soon. I've just been busy, and a lot of my recent archival efforts have been focused on getting these docs together.

This could be another false alarm or another crisis averted, but if ex-staff are sounding the alarm, I should probably take it seriously. My mind hasn't even been on my personal blogs because I'm currently getting help and step-by-step tutorials for backing up utmvarchive.

I'd said before that if I were code-literate or could afford to hire someone who is, I'd've already cloned the archive off-site. But I'm not code-literate, and I can't afford to hire a web-builder, and that'd be too much to ask someone to do for free.

So what I'm asking for instead is this: if you can, I want help from the utdr community to collect/make docs saving all available credits, dates, lore and references of as many Undertale alternates as possible. If you have the time, please save as many posts and early versions by the original creators as you can.

If you're on pc, you can view the sidepages utmvarchive.tumblr.com/progress to see which alternates I've already covered (reblogged all og posts I could find, linked backups of abandoned/deleted works to docs/wikis/etc and summarized) and which ones I haven't yet. If you're on mobile, you can dm me for a link to the Google doc where I've copied over the indexes, the sidepages and all of tagged/txt (story mode).

The alternates I have links to docs saved are, according to the list at the bottom of citations, Abysstale, Birdtale (pending translation from hangul), Dusttale, Fatal_Error, Fluffytale, Inktale, Killer/Something New, Othertale, Storyshift, Ultratale/Vitaltale, Underfell, Underfresh, Underpray and Underswap. I've lost the link, but there was also a Korean wiki page I'd found with all the details about Negativetale, and my next task will be saving all the links I can to preexisting backups of other saved AU fanworks, such as Underplayer. I already put the doc in its own drive folder, and the utmvarchive doc already has a lot of tabs, so I'm thinking I'll save all those links in another doc.

I made utmvarchive last year because I didn't want the first Undertale AUs to become lost media or else simply forgotten, and I'm very grateful already for the help I'd gotten from @apyrisol, @rainbowut, @what-have-i-unleashed, @wickjump, @xxtha and all the attendees of @thevioletbanquetutmvrp, in sharing lore or sending works that I thought were scrubbed or lost to time; but I was working under the assumption I could take my time and treat this as a hobby. But if I may need to hurry, this is just too much for one user to do by myself. It's just me running the blog, hence why it's had pauses according to my own availability.

I've also had a backup account since a termination scare, so @verdantviridity and @viridverdure have the same setup as @humunanunga (for original posts) and @irreyre (for reblogs). Reposts shouldn't be showing up in tags, but they'll all be tagged as #rerun for filters.

"And where is it being held?" It is unclear if it was just how those words would've been enunciated or someone actually shifted their head slightly to glance at Ccino. "Why, here of course..." He spoke, beginning to speak more slowly as he felt an odd, subtle wave of ominosity on his shoulders. Perhaps it was just uneasiness that sprouted at this peculiar time, or maybe there was something... more enigmatic going on, and he couldn’t pinpoint it. He stayed rather cautious, and sipped his concerns away. Someone seemed to give that answer some regard. "…And as long as you are 'here,' you are still 'somewhere,' you would say." Although phrased like a statement, something indicated it was meant as a question. Perhaps it was the vague sense of an expectant stare on him. Putting his cup down, Ccino doesn’t do much else but let on a small nod, then really listened. Everything felt... muted. Drowned out. Though quietness and this sense of anticipation weren’t things that put him at ease, his subtle tensions nullified it. His shoulders rolled back before he leaned again, sitting down more laid-back. "Well. I’d prefer to be ‘here’ or ‘somewhere’ rather than ‘nowhere’—" Ccino responded, swirling his coffee— "...You understand that. Don’t you?" "Oh, very much so…" There was something heavier behind those words. The corner of a frown could be seen from under the familiar shape of that headpiece that he didn't, and perhaps wouldn't, quite recognize. And then she was gone. And everything else was still here. Everyone else and himself were still here.

...Yeah, I caved at the event. The Archivist herself made a few guest appearances at the Violet Banquet, so I guess that means this would be a good time to reveal this piece of concept art I'd been holding onto.

In February, I became a fandom server mod. Which has actually been wonderful and honestly kind of a healing experience. There was a lot for us to plan, organize or mediate in the following months, but thankfully it's been paying off. I really like it here.

Besides that, March, April and May had been spent finding housing for a friend I picked up at the airport from out-of-state. And besides that, I'd been out picking up things from the farmhouse my family had to sell, and I ended up collecting almost two complete cow skeletons.

Then in June, of course, the new Deltarune chapters came out, but then I also drove through nearly tornadic weather to pick up a different friend escaping dv, and then I found a sick month-old kitten a few days later, and then my car broke down in the middle of the road with a dead alternator and an oil leak, and then I'd spent basically the whole day at the vet clinic with the queerplatonic wife. Oh yeah, and I was told all about the villain speeches my birthgiver's still posting about me on Facebook almost three years after I blocked her.

That's still not everything, but anyway, utmvarchive is finally unpaused, and I'll be hauling ass to build up the queue again whenever I have more time to myself.
