I used to think like this, that life on this planet was doomed and our only hope was expanding out. but that's not right, this planet isn't doomed. not yet. even if things get so far gone that it is, it will *still* be easier for us to fix this planet than make a new one livable. besides, think about what we might destroy as we expand. we still dont know if there's unicellular life on mars or titan or enceladus or whatever or not, but there sure will be in the form of earth bacteria and mold if we try to make them ours. are we as s species so vain that we truly believe that we can destroy everything for our own gain? i hope we get kessler syndrome and we all end up needing to choke to death down here on terra firma.
