First of all, gods. The gods control whatever domain of powers the other characters have.

Superman defeats Orion? Wrong Orion is a god of war and wrath, he's in constant battle with himself to keep fighting for good. His astro-force is the wrath of creation itself. You enter a fight with Orion you've already lost because he's the representation of fighting and anger itself. He's not the player, he's the game.

Barda? Trained on Apokolips, leader of Furies, goes toe-to-toe with God of War & Wrath Orion. She's trained to fight other gods on the regular, she's a strategist, and best of all she loves fighting so you're not walking out of this fight whole if you get on her bad side (that's the best case scenario and only because she doesn't enjoy killing).

Lightray? He's the representation of hope and light. Now that sounds cushy and cute until you realize he can create two whole STARS in the blink of an eye, which he did, and he fucking fried people. He holds within him the power of all light; core of every sun, the fire of every star, every lightning storm, all across the cosmos. He can transform it however he desires, he can turn you into nothing before your neurons can fire off to signal you to blink.

"Batman can-" Batman should not even be able to stand in their fucking presence if editorial stopped sucking Batman's dick for five seconds to realize he's just a guy with some fucking gadgets. It wouldn't matter anyways because Orion is again, god of war and wrath & as such has information on every type of weapon ever.

“Damn,” Guy says, admiring the unadulterated view of your cranium, “Can I…touch it?”

“It’s still the same head as before,” you grin up at him, at the way that he ogles you not with distaste—but with wonder, almost.

His hands rise to your head, the wide, rough palms scraping over the circumference of your newly shaved dome—they’re warm and heavy and carry quality of nice weighted blanket. You don’t resist the sigh that gussets out of you at his touch; this is something that only prompts an eager grin to cross his face.

“Feels nice,” he comments idly, with some amusement that you find a little endearing. When he starts to scratch, though, you don’t resist the breezy noise of satisfaction that this inspires.

“Guess there’s more than one upside to doing this,” you sigh against him.

“Hell nah,” he agrees, “I’m gonna be doin’ this shit all the time now.”
