Hiccup's walk cycle sound is different than the others' - if you listen closely, you can almost always hear the creaks and clicks of his prosthetic, even when he's running. (I definitely remember this from ROB too.)

When he's standing, he often has more weight shifted onto his right leg. There are times when he is very noticeably leaning on his good leg.

My headcanon on what the Dragon Hunter ship’s interiors look like!

I was watching the movie How To Train Your Dragon for the umpteenth time today, and something came to my notice…

In the scene where Hiccup gives Toothless his first rudimentary tail wing, there’s a very subtle symbolism happening. As Hiccup sits on Toothless’s tail and ties the wing to it, Toothless begins to spread his wings. When seen from the back, it appears like Hiccup has gained wings.

The symbolism here is very subtle, but it’s truly beautiful. This is the first time Hiccup becomes airborne (as Toothless takes off). This is the moment Hiccup expands his wings and shows his nascent capabilities of becoming a dragon rider.

And it gives me so many feels. This is such a well-executed, beautifully crafted movie. The attention to these little details just makes it even more rewatchable and enjoyable. I’m in love with the whole trilogy. <3
