💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?

The entirety of the third movie, basically. Everyone is so out of character, Hiccup makes very questionable decisions as chief, the ending was forced and absolutely did not fit thematically with the other two movies. I watched it again recently with a friend, and although there are some moments I'd keep (cute Hiccup & Toothless moments, some Hiccstrid moments, etc.), most of it I would change in a heartbeat. It would've been far more fun if Drago had come back for revenge like what was originally planned for the movie!

👻 What is your wildest headcanon?

Someone asked this question earlier, too, and I said that one of my headcanons is that Dagur filed his teeth down to points so that he has sharp teeth like the Berserkers in the books. :) Another Dagur headcanon I have is that tattooing wasn't hardcore enough for his deranged ass, so he branded himself with what was important to him (including a night fury symbol and Hiccup's name and/or likeness) after he became obsessed in ROB/DOB. (A hc I actually include in my fic Burn).

🤩 What led to your interest in the fandom?

I answered this one earlier too! :)

I've loved HTTYD ever since I saw the first movie in theaters, and I've gone through several HTTYD hyperfixations over the years. I just... I love everything about HTTYD, loved it from the moment I saw it. Loved the story, the heart, the gorgeous animation, the message, the bond between Hiccup and Toothless... and the whump. Of course, the whump haha.

And the shows, especially RTTE, only solidified and strengthened my love for the fandom! I mean, they aren't perfect by any means, and the animation is... substantially less impressive than the movies, but the world building, the dragons, the character development, the relationships, and, of course, the WHUMP (Midnight Scrum my beloved)!

Honestly, RTTE has to be my favorite part of the film/show franchise. I adore the movies (the first two, anyway), but the show adds SO MUCH to the world and characters and I love it so much!

❤️ What is your favorite line that you’ve written in a fic?

Someone else asked this question too, so I'll give another of my favorite lines! This one is from the epilogue of Surrender:

Snotlout lost himself in his own thoughts for a while after that, strolled through the overgrown, thorn-ridden gardens of his should haves and what ifs, but this time with enough distance to properly see them for what they were: Brambles, sick and dying, not roses with thorns justly piercing his flesh.

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

Oh man, I had fanart done of one of my fics for the first time ever recently by @quixoticstar and I cannot express what that meant to me and how FERAL I am over it!!! It's honestly the perfect scene in the fic for fanart!

I would LOOOOVE to see fanart from my fic A Gift for Viggo Grimborn! I mean, Hiccup's all tied/wrapped up in ribbons, gagged, and handed over to Viggo as a Snoggletog present from Ryker! That would be so fun to see art of lol!

✍️ What’s your ideal writing setup?

My ideal writing setup is either me in my comfy chair (a recliner that belonged to my great-grandmother and is still sooooo comfortable) with my laptop opened to Ellipsus, a cold drink, and absolute silence, or at the desktop computer with the custom keyboard my husband built for me (it has the most satisfying clickety-clacks when you type) with a cold drink, Ellipsus, and absolute silence. :)

🚀 Do you like to outline your fic first or create as you go?

I create as I go! I literally cannot do outlines. I've tried, and it never works out for me lol. Even back when I was in school, if I had an outline due for a paper, I'd usually write the paper first and then base the outline off the paper! This is of course why some fics get away from me (*cough cough* Where Flesh and Metal Meet *cough cough*), but I honestly think that makes it more fun! :D

❤️ What is your favorite line that you’ve written in a fic?

One of my favorite lines I've written recently has got to be one from an unpublished WIP, my hijack fic Souls of Ice and Fire:

Jack Frost was born of snow and ice and bitter winds, from a womb of frigid water crouched beneath bone of ice and flesh of frost. Born into a world nearly as dark and cold as the pond he had risen from, where nightmares danced in the shadows and flitted between trees in the forever night-time woods. It was a time of gods and monsters, of dragons and magic, of fear and kill-or-be-killed. A time of Vikings, where brave men were many but good men were few.

💡How many WIPs do you currently have?

I currently have 24 WIPs, but some are definitely more "in progress" than others lmao.

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

Absolutely! I actually do a Fic Rec Friday and a List Ten Tuesday on my blog (the latter is where I recommend 10 fics, some mine, some others', around a certain theme), so I rec lots of fics each week! I definitely recommend @thedragon-and-hisboy (mushroomwizzard157 on AO3), @rachelteazer, @evilwriter37. Some of my all-time favorite fics are It Could Be Worse by who_is_sabrina, the rings of change by Anonymous, and My Darling Dear by ForeverMoreEight. But honestly, I have so many recs that tuning in to my rec posts is the way to go lol!

🎯 Do you have a writing milestone you’re working towards?

Right now, my milestone is simply finishing my WIP Where Flesh and Metal Meet. I've got one more chapter and an epilogue to go, and I'm positively itching to complete it! After I finish it, I'm going to focus on fulfilling requests I've gotten and also working on my Bad Things Happen Bingo card. :)

Hi!! I actually do all my formatting on Microsoft Word! I use free fonts from defont.com for the title and accent fonts and Garamond for the body text. It took a LOT of trial and error to find the base format with font size, margins, and spacing that I now use for every book, but I'm really happy with the result!

And yes, I do print them myself, which was a PAIN before I got a new printer because my old printer was, well, old, and it would only print single-sided and liked to grab two pages at once. I have had the worst trouble with the new printer too (quality is low, HP is a terrible company who drags their feet with everything), which is why I haven't done much binding lately. But fingers crossed that it'll be fixed soon, because I've really missed bookbinding!
