I've been thinking about something you posted a few weeks ago, and I realized I've spent most of my life trying to be "acceptable" instead of memorable. I don't think I was afraid of people disliking me as much as I was afraid of standing out. I'm trying to unlearn that because it feels exhausting.

Being “acceptable” is safe, but it also means minimizing the parts of yourself that make you memorable. I’m really happy you have the strength to choose to unlearn that!

Men Pay Attention

Genuinely one of the most important things I could talk about: there’s a difference in supporting a legitimate partner through struggle, versus slowly training yourself to accept chronic inconsistency, neglect, low effort, emotional unavailability, etc from a man because you think enduring it makes you more valuable to him somehow. Especially when there's no reciprocity.

A man benefiting from your patience is not the same thing as him respecting it.

Men are extremely observant to what is tolerated or not. If a man learns that he can give inconsistent effort, emotionally withdraw, cross boundaries, come back with minimal reassurance, and still fully retain access to you every single time, that becomes the relationship dynamic. Being overtly accommodating does nothing more than remove his own urgency, and lower the emotional cost of disappointing you.

To literally stop caring about what other people think about you!!!! The fear of being perceived as undignified will ironically always be the thing to hold you back from new opportunities. You’ll miss out on far more by worrying about judgment than you’ll ever lose from actually being judged.

The biggest thing I need to do for myself is to be consistent with my Intellectual and Business endeavors. I need to stop making excuses. I need to make strides towards my degree and create more income for myself. I need to stop being lazy for the sake of my future self.

I deserve to be rich. I deserve to be secure. But I can feel it in my body- the fear, the uncertainty, the resistance to the very idea of making more money unless it's a sure thing from a paycheck. I need to feel it in my body that I deserve riches.

If anyone knows how to do a mindset shift when it comes to money please let me know.

Omg I need to do it like I did exercise. Month 1, 1 subject 5 minutes every single day. Month 2, 2 subjects, 5 minutes every single day. And so on and so forth until I reach 5 subjects a day and at least 30 minutes each.

This does not include my mandatory college classes btw. Those have a specific time slot and a deadline. I will graduate by Winter of 2028.
