That night, after an enjoyable date where I spent all day happily showing Ring around the streets of London— 

I stood in front of Ring’s room, feeling the familiar twinge of sadness that always came with having to say goodbye. 

(... If only we could stay together for a little while longer.)

Kate: … Yes? 

Ring: You must be tired after all the walking we did today. … Do you want to rest here for a bit before heading back?

It seemed that Ring wanted to spend more time together too. I felt my mood lifting up when I nodded. 

It was 9 o’clock at night.

We sat side by side on the bed, recounting all the wonderful little memories we made today. 

Every time I glanced at the clock, I would be reminded that it was about time I left, but I couldn't bring myself to let go of his hand. 

And then, Ring said something along the lines of “I was busy keeping other men away from you during our date”. 

Kate: When was that? 

Ring: The whole time. Wherever we went, I couldn't help noticing other men looking at you. 

(Did that happen…?)

To me, it only looked like the London I’d always known. 

I tilted my head, slightly puzzled. 

(Maybe Ring’s just sensitive.) 

Ring: It’s because you’re cute, everyone looks your way. It’s not your fault… I just wanted to protect you. 

He mumbled as he pulled me into a tight hug. 

Even though there was no one who could actually take me away from him, the way he held me so dearly and protectively reminded me of a loyal guard dog. It made me feel more affectionate towards him, somehow. 

Kate: You’re the cute one, Ring.

Ring: ? No, I’m talking about how cute you are. 

Kate: No, you’re cute too, Ring. Actually, you’re way cuter.

Ring: !? No, you’re ABSOLUTELY the cutest— 

That silly back-and-forth exchange made us both burst into laughter.

I pressed both my hands to his cheeks, squishing them. 

Ring: …? 

Seeing Ring wide-eyed and blinking…

Kate: Fufu, look at you. You’re so cute. 

Ring: ……

Kate: Wah!?

The moment he grabbed my hand, my vision spun around,

Kate: R-Ring… 

Before I realised what was happening, he had both my wrists pinned against the bed underneath his large hands.

Ring: See? You’re the cute one. 

Ring looked down at me, smiling. 

But the facial expression he wore was far from “cute” — it was manly, and it made my heart violently skip a beat. 

I was alone with Ring in his bedroom, at this hour especially, and pinned down on his bed. 

The reality of the situation finally sank in, and the pounding of my heart grew faster and faster. 

(That wasn’t what I came into his room for. I just didn't want to leave him yet…)

(Ring must feel the same. But, still…)

(I’m… kind of… hoping for it…)

He continued staring down at me in silence, and at the rate things were going— 

Ring: …… Tch. 

Ring’s grip didn’t loosen, but he suddenly appeared flustered and turned his face away.

Kate: … Ring…?

Ring: Stop looking at me with those eyes. … They’re practically telling me I could devour you and you'd be fine with it. … Darn, I’m going to lose it… 

(By “lose it”... does that mean Ring wants to devour me too…?) 

That thought made it impossible to get rid of the anticipation swelling in my chest. 

Kate: Y-You can…

Ring: … Can? 

Kate: Um… you know… devour… 

With every ounce of courage I could muster, I forced the words out of my mouth.

Ring’s frown deepened, his face growing tense as though he was desperately fighting his urges. 

Ring: You must be tired. I’ll be fine, but you won’t. 

Ring: Your body is so soft and delicate… if I go too hard, I’ll break you.

Kate: … Aahh… 

His palms traced the curves of my body over my clothes, eliciting a sweet moan from my lips. 

Ring inhaled sharply the instant he heard them, seemingly trying to pull himself together, and then he said in a strained voice,

Ring: So… 

Ring: Can I at least kiss you? 

Before I could even nod, his lips were already on mine.

Okay I love the guy, I love his development however this only shows Cybird didn't know how to make him look intelligent without making everyone else dumb ass fuck. They try to make it they I know it all already by making everyone else not being able to predict stuff and if the others aren't intelligent enough.

Also he seems to contradic himself in a lot of cases like saying he doesn't need anyone and then saying he only needs Clavis some shit like that.

Not even let me get started with the shit he says to the mc about no matter what she chose he will be king and then during the routes where doesn't end up being king he doesn't seem to do anything at all or show any recenmetn Wich leads him to end up a blank character.

Romance over story

Something I've noticed is that their games often have loops or holes in their story and environment due to only focusing in the romance. I'm.not good at explaining but I feel like they could explain the vampires stuff, the belle system and all in a better way than the way they did.

Flirty Characters

What it would be Arthur, Nokto, Jin, Alfons are characters who are totally flirty and shit. And Cybird doesn't seem to know how to use them without crossing lines and then they end up clearly molesting the mc specially in Alfons route that I'm going to talk about him in a moment

CYBIRD and their 🍇kink

Cybird seems to use dub con and liter non con to spicy the shit Wich is horrible.

Nobunaga is almost forcing himself on the Mai in the start of his route and the start of the other Oda guys route.

Alfons is straight non con

Roger is kinda... Uh about to cross the lines.

Jin seems to forget about the I only play with women who wants to play and in some old events and went straight dub con.

And not let me get started with the way Cybird is trying to defend the last king in ikepri about oh h was corrupted and now he is the way it is, he is still a 🍇pist!

CYBIRD doesn't seem to understand what consents means,

In ikepri it's okay explains why so many children in ikepri but why would Cybird try to defend him and make him look like he is innocent, he still hurt a lot of people damn it!

Jin's pain

I love Jin but honestly the way Jin seems to blame everything on the court is shit, yes it's kinda of their fault but him making the rule of not falling in love makes it look like he is also blaming his parents for falling in love. So he is blaming court and love but not his father for not even trying to fight it or endind the way he is?

Also Jin seems to have a great developing of this fear of his parents story happening again, during his route, Yves route, etc... He actually puts his fear aside to support their brothers but during Leon's route (I don't remember which route actual) he seems to want to sabotage it.

I don't understand Jin way of acting sometimes.

Alfons

Oh Alfons, I love his character but not his route.

Alfons is a very good side character and someone who tried not to care but ends up caring.

He clearly tried to take care of Elbert and be patient with him, h doesn't seem to cross boundaries and respects Elbert and wish to save him but doesn't try cuz he knows Elbert doesn't want.

He clearly has a great friendship with Liam, he cares about the cat, and uses his ability to prevent Liam from actually hurting himself but at the same time sastifying his curiosity and gets cranky because he won't be able to do it forever, and yet he wishes to help him.

Alfons is a nice and great help to Kate during Liam, Elbert and Harrison route.

During Elbert he warms Kate, he tried to stop her but at the same time when she still wants to keep going and help Elbert he supports her from behind.

During Harrison route Alfons does the same, helps Kate by telling him about Harrison, giving her the hints she needs.

He is an annoying character that plays with the boundaries of people howwevr he doesn't seem to actually harm people. He only goes to people that wishes to have a good time so why ...

WHY IS HE 🍇 KATE IN HIS ROUTE!?!

Like, yeah he is a perverted and all but he didn't seem like he would 🍇 someone.

Like he is literally friends with two guys that were sa, and he was probably sa too why is he doing it?!?

His route trows me off because why such a nice character that works as a key and a great friend of the others is suddenly that?!?.

So, in conclusion.

Cybird doesn't know how to write smart characters

I was thinking about how, if Gilbert died from his health issues, and Roderic did step up to help continue Obsidian on its journey to a better country, Emma would be allowed to mourn her husband despite everyone believing that Roderic was Gilbert. Roderic would do that for her.

See, she wouldn't even have to be present anyways. Besides the fact that Gilbert has set up a senate or parliament, Emma isn't actually involved in any of the politics - Gilbert has made sure of that. It is only recently that he has even allowed her to attend his meetings held in the palace, she basically has no knowledge or power over Obsidian already.

Because of this, she could seclude herself, or even go back to Rhodelite for a time, mourning privately, though only her, Roderic, and Chevalier would know that Gilbert is gone. And since she has already been dressed in black because Obsidian, no one would really consider her dress different than normal. Perhaps she'd wear a veil? Yeah, I think she would.

When she does start appearing next to Gilbert (Roderic), it could be years and years later. She would literally mourn him her whole life, and Gilbert knows that. So too, does Roderic.
