And when Her head snaps up, looking around for what made such a noise. Knowing What makes that noise, fully aware of what it means.

The look on Her face, the panic and shock. A former Deity feeling uncertain, feeling fear. Gods above it's addictive~.

Especially when the dread starts to seep in, when she starts to realize she's vulnerable. When she realizes she's not Her, when she's just another meer mortal~.

That's when the real fun starts~, that's when the Hunt is known to her. That's when they all realize, they're the prey now.

The thunderous pounding of their once cold heart, reignited by true terror. The scent of her adrenaline and cortisol mixing, knowing it'll make the taste all the sweeter...

But the best part? The best part, is when you don't pursue.

When you let her leave, hand on service pistol and leather coat pulled. Hells, some even scuff their precious boots on their way away.

Handlers tend to forget my actual job on this base is making things FUNCTION, so if they get uppity and think they can mistreat me due to my past, I remind them that I'm not some scrawny little Hound to be bullied.

I'm well fed and heavily augmented. Also my jaws can crack femurs, so finger bones? Light work.

A missing pinky taken by surprise sends a strong message with minimal damage.

Of course, if I do choose the gentle path to retaliate, it's arguably worse, especially for non-Senior Handlers who lack the full context of how I got here.

[Hopefully these first few flourishes will make up for it. We're still learning the new replica.]

With the recent discovery of different pilot archetypes, other than the well known Hound. Our department specializes in the research of these archetypes, their behavioral patterns, the consistency in shared traits amongst other pilots of their type. Hells, even down to which potential assets are suitable for beginning Handlers.

I'm glad there's actually a specialist now.

If you need reports, I'm compiling my own list of experiences, so HMU if you need data. Trust me, I've been around the block and know a vast variety of archetypes.

And of course we know more than just Hounds, it'd be a disservice to other pilots. Including ourselves.

As for being a former Hound yourself, can't say we share such past. As that would require Being a Hound, which this tired Vix would prefer some days....ugh. At least there wouldn't be more paperwork, and at least then we'd sortie more often. However, not too many big names to hunt down anymore. No one needs a saboteur or an assassin class anymore, it's all "We want bigger and stronger". Blegh ....
