Hey folks, Basker here. Know I've been absent, been dealing with a lot of busywork in the hangar, if you know, you know.
Time to give a bit of an overview, catch y'all back up on what's happening.
I've just been working on chassis, VARGR is back in use after she got smashed up in that fight with Anika's forces. Been acting a bit weird tho, like it's got a temper and is cross with me. No clue why, the VARGR system shouldn't be acting up, there's no bugs, will have to look it over later.
Speaking of Anika's forces, we've got The Wall laying flat outside the base. Damn thing is massive, took aerial support and chassis support to move it after it went down. Just glad Tasha's on our side now.
Faust has been... out of it. She's been stressed out of her mind after we found those files in Anika's chassis, poor gal looks like she barely sleeps some nights. Mandy's been helping her out, but she's also balancing helping out Winter and the others with their problems. Gods, being a good person fuckin sucks sometimes, put in all the effort and still get left feeling miserable.
Fist ain't doin too hot either. He's looking to bring in more Gators to train, and he wants to change how he deploys them, but he's having a hard time finding candidates. That, and Lock isn't looking for another Jaw, she just wants Jaw back.
Oh yeah, Lock talked to me recently. Turns out, she wants to talk to our resident pink vixen, Foxglove. She wants me to be there in case she tries killing Foxglove, which is fair.
Mandy's been on a roll, buuuut needs to remind herself to take breaks, much like Fausty. Just cuz she's built like a biological terminator, doesn't mean she should skip sleeping.
Fuckin hell, I'm just glad we found Veronica a stable job here on base, lets her stay stable. She's struggling, but I can see that spark in her eyes come back when someone asks her for help. She'll get there, just takes time.
