The holidays are over and now we have to get through the rest of winter (which has been a challenge). Here are some ways you can plan cozy weekends to stay motivated!
š¤bake with seasonal produce: I use pears and apples to bake bread and cake on Sunday mornings.
š¤go for a hike: we bundle up and wear snow boots to brace the great, frosty outdoors.
š¤have a picnic: bundle up and sit in the sun when the day is warmest, and get even warmer with a flask of cocoa or tea.
š¤meal prep for the week: do your shopping at local markets and make meals that can be reheated during the week.
š¤write at a cafe: pack up your things and move to a window seat at Starbucks or a local coffee shop.
š¤organize your skincare: use your time off to toss what has run out, and determine what can be repurchased.
š¤read those books: Iām finally getting through by TBR list on days when the weather is too cold to venture outside.
š¤knit yourself accessories: instead of buying overpriced knitwear, I get inspiration from Free People and Anthropologie and try to knit my own versions of garments.
š¤clean your room: not romantic, but it important, and I always feel better afterwards.
