1. which of your fics is your pride and joy?
aaaa all of them? not an answer? oh okay, right now i guess it would be MOMENTUM, i did a ton of research for it and i adore the characters so much. i was able to explore some feelings and things i've been trying to express for a while and it was really cathartic to write.

7. what's a fic you didn't expect to be popular but really took off?
ummm idk if any of them really qualify as "popular" and i never really expect anyone to read my fic (not to be self-deprecating) BUT, i was surprised that people read and liked Don't Be Stupid, it was the first age gap fic i wrote and i didn't expect many people to read it at all
12. would you ever accept requests or commissions?
no commissions for fics, but probably requests. i've done little micro-request things before! for fanart, i've done both and might do it again someday.
16. do you make playlists for your fics?
yes! not always, but sometimes! I made one for MOMENTUM. i'm not very good at them though, i usually just go for songs i find that make me think of the fic lol

the best fanfiction you've ever read was written by a woman in her 40s before she made dinner for her kids. it was written by a teenager after school when they should've been studying for a history test. and a barista came up with the idea while they cleaned the espresso machine and busser fact-checked it on their break and the post-doc edited between writing grant proposals and the nurse apologized for typos in the notes after a long shift and behind every drabble and one-shot and multi-chapter fic there is a person with a wonderful and interesting and chaotic life and it is such a privilege that we get to be apart of it because they decided to do this thing we all share, for fun.

4. how long do you spend editing?
oh this is hard to tell, i do a lot of editing as i go. usually i start a new writing session by reading whatever i wrote previously to try and get back into it, but i also spend a lot of time rereading it on my phone (sometimes in the middle of the night). if i have a beta i usually go through their edits once i've finished the whole first draft and then i just, keep chipping at it until i give up and post it LOL
8. what wip are you most excited about?
whatever one i'm looking at LOL. no okay, really though, for unposted wips i've been working on a pretty big one and i'm excited for it. but i'm also excited for my older ones depending on my whims and where my thoughts take me. i tend to daydream when i'm driving or showering or stuff like that and sometimes ideas will strike from other wips.
18. what's a trope you want to write but haven't written yet?
this is silly but i really want to write something slow burn. i'm too impatient and i kind of let the characters go wherever they want and most of the time that's a fast burn, or even a mid-burn. either way, no matter how hard i try i just can't keep them away from each other.

The next morning when Remus gets to school he pauses just inside the front door, fidgeting with the strap of his bag, staring down the hall towards his locker, blinking a few times because he’s not entirely sure what he’s looking at. Sirius is leaning against the locker next to his, leather jacket hanging open over his t-shirt—which is much too casual for a Tuesday, he wonders if they’ve tossed their dress code out the window—face blank as he stares down Barty, who is standing on the other side of Remus’ locker with a nasty glare on his face and Evan at his side. He pulls his lower lip between his teeth, thinking about slowly backing away before any of them can see him, until he remembers that he’s trying to be friends, or more, with all of them and that those parts of his life will overlap sometimes, and that running away probably isn’t the best idea, sighing as he finally walks forward.
