with hermitcraft season 7 slowly coming to an end, i figured it was time to consolidate all of the Informative Posts about hermitcraft that i and some of the other members of hermitblr have made over the last several months.

Here ya go! Feel like something like this is easier to keep track of than listing a bunch of names

Its the Six Month Anniversary of Hermitcraft Season 9!

I love reminding people of the inevitable passage of time so here are a few of my favourite bases and builds so far from the season, in contrast to the ones at the start! I did want to add more, however the post was getting ridiculously long so I apologise in advance if I miss a few hermits.

Honestly I could have made the entire post just builds from the shopping district (which I might end up doing anyway). I’m obsessed with how good the shopping district looks and the variety of styles present.

Anyway, hope y’all are still having fun with season 9 and I can’t wait until everyone’s mega-bases are finished.

Minigames

Early on False demonstrated her bow prowess while playing Infinitri with the Hermits. (Although, she actually did better in the games from Xisuma’s Pov)

In S3, she was the only Hermit to beat Etho in Boom Box (8:48)

False was also great at Ice Runners (a game mode very similar to the most recent Twitch Rivals Minedraft)

Server Shenanigans

Someone already mentioned it, but her Head Hunt battle against Biffa is a classic

Her wooden sword duel with Bdubs in S5 is another iconic moment as one of the funniest fights (Battle is 11:08, but imo it’s worth starting from 3:28)

False also has a reputation for rescuing Hermits from withers, with Tango as the most recent example. In S4 she rescued Impulse (25:51), iJevin, and later Ren in S5 (19:07)

UHCs and PvP Events

In one UHC with the group mentioned earlier, False pulled off a solid triple kill (11:49) towards the end

She was invited to another UHC where she lost her teammate (6:59), only to then eliminate all 8 remaining players. She also got the Overkill achievement with her final kill, dealing 10 hearts of damage in one shot

She won a modded UHC with the Hermits, despite being the only one in iron gear

There used to be an event called Hunt the Hermit, where the Hermits were chased by teams of their patreon members. False was the last Hermit standing every time, including the final event which ended in a free-for-all battle amongst the Hermits (10:28)

As for more recently, she used to participate in the Clash of the Creators events. They were livestream competitions, usually focused on advancement hunting. False’s team won the first 4 events, and the vods are available on her second channel (Nov 2020 - Feb 2021)

Such was the case with Hermitgang. A Disstrack made by a team of Hermits to diss the opposing team during the civil war of season 6. Is pretty cool so would recommend listening to Hermitgang

And as for season 7, a Hermit, Welsknight, started his season later and that eventually gained him an evil clone (no I’m not kidding) and this evil clone, Helsknight, wanted to replace him so both knights battled. As in they rap battled and Wels won.

We have yet to get a song this season but it will be defitnely be fun when that happens! And chances are it will be remixed by Elybeatmaker! He has been remixing content for the Hermits even back in the mindcrack days and he is super cool! His channel here!

And as extra shout out there is Jono! He has done music for Hermit videos comissioned by the Hermits themselves! Like Grian’s timelapse music, the Mumbo for Mayor song used for the campaign last season, and the Tokyo Drift parody/knock off/tribute Level up from season 8!

And you can often hear his work on Ren’s episodes as he helps compose the music for them since Ren is his older bro :D

And also a rock song comissioned by Docm77 for his episode

He and Grian put this one together during s7 -- Grian was actually going through a lot of stress to get everything done irl and this song was apparently both a processing of that and a turning it into something positive. Also it's my alarm every morning and I love it.

Jono's Elytra track is at least in my top three favorites he's ever done. I love this track so much and I actually cried the first time I heard it -- it's just so lovely and it absolutely sounds like what flying with elytra feels like.

And this season. This season, Jono put together this AMAZING full soundtrack for Doc to use in his vids, and they are seriously good. But every time the beat drops on this track I just can't help but dance a little. It's good stuff.
