the problem with being a lower amnesia system is the dissociative tests that mostly measure blackout type amnesia because they always say we don't have amnesia but we do, it's just not that intense

our amnesia levels are low enough we don't forget important things often but when we do forget things this is one of our favourite phrases because it's not inaccurate

DID symptoms that people don't talk enough about
The cycle of forgetting and then re-remembering trauma memories
Constant depersonalization and derealization
Feeling as if you're stuck living someone else's life
Failure to plan for the future because nothing feels real + losing time
Thinking a flashback is over when you've actually just dissociated away from it, and having it resume as soon as you stop dissociating
Dissociative stupor/trance
Alexithymia
Identity issues outside of alters
Inability to connect with other people
Being unable to tell if you've healed from a past problem/trauma or if you've just dissociated away from it
Not learning from past mistakes because of amnesia and dissociation

dissociative stupor sucks. we know coping methods and strategies for most of the other ones but getting stuck in dissociative stupor is really hard to get out of for some reason.
sometimes when I have trouble doing things, I narrate my chores like I'm a youtuber. It's like "What up Y'all? Lillypad here, today we're loading and unloading the dishwasher. This is the soap we're using today, very important. Some people prefer tablets, but I find that powder works best, especially for the pre-rinse cycle and is more eco friendly. personally we think it could be; regardless of whether the system wants final fusion or functional multiplicity, being more present and focused on the outerworld seems like it would be positive progress since the system is no longer using the innerworld to dissociate as much
