wm starting to casually kiss goodbye and they don't even realise they're doing it just. one day one of them says 'ok gonna go now' and the other puckers his lips and they kiss goodbye and go on their separate ways. and they keep doing it and at some point inevitably they do it in front of grace first and she goes 🤨 and will goes ‘what ☺️’ and she goes 'nothing at all let's get smoothies' and then in front of cat and toff and they go 😲🤯 and then toff says 'should we. should we say something' and cat goes 'no but you need to facetime me when they Realise' and then inevitably training starts and at first they manage not to be seen by anyone and toff keeps cornering either one of them and goes 'is there anything at all you wanna share. any changes in your life lately' and mack goes '??? is this the old man dementia talking what's wrong with you' and will goes 'i changed the butter i use for the brownies..? which reminds me i have to get some mack i'll meet you at home' and they kiss goodbye literally in front of toff who actually is not paid to deal with all of this. and then inevitably they are out with the entire team and mack gets the short stick and has to get shots for everyone and goes 'alright whatever be right back' and gives will a quick peck and everyone goes ‘WOAG WHAT WAS THAT HELLO’ and they both go ‘🤨🤨 what’ and someone says 'what do you mean what. what was that' and toff sighs and gets his phone out and delly goes 'why did you kiss since when is this a thing' and they go 'we didn't? what's wrong with you?' and mario goes you literally just kissed in front of us and mack 'are you all on drugs. why didn't you share' and before everyone else can say anything else toff goes 'ok everyone. let's leave them alone mack go get those shots' so then mack huffs and goes to give will a kiss again and they both freeze with their lips a breath away and their eyes get so so big and they go uhm. so obviously mack gets shots but they are freaked the fuck out so toff gets close to will and says 'maybe you should call it a night' and so they get home and they don't talk about it and the next morning will is in the kitchen when mack decides to go for a run and they both freeze and are so aware of the physical distance between them and mack is by the door and will is sitting at the kitchen island and they sorta look at each other and then both go 'right. yeah' and mack leaves the house and will gets busy in the kitchen and it's a few days and they are being so normal with each other and actually they are together so much that it's a while before they go their separate ways and it's actually after practice when mack has to go meet dada for lunch and will is staying behind to get a massage and they sort of hover in the hallway outside the locker room and they look at each other and mack makes an aborted movement with his hand like he wants to touch will but even casual touching has brought so much awareness to their closeness lately and when mack gets home will is not there yet so mack decides the best course of action is to pace the entire apartment till will comes back bc he is being reasonable about everything. so when will gets back he is all worked up and they kinda both stop in their tracks and will goes 'i didn't. i didn't realise that's what we were doing but -' and mack goes 'i know' and will goes 'but i miss it and it's weird when we don't -' and mack goes 'will. i know' and will goes 'and i don't think we should stop. actually' and mack goes 'yeah we should -' and will 'and we shouldn't just kiss goodbye. we should do hellos too' so mack steps forward and grabs will's face in both hands and kisses him and they sort of both get breathless and when they separate they both have this glazed over look and mack goes 'hello.' and will smiles so mack smiles too and then will leans in again and when they separate again he goes 'and we should do all the in between too' and then they kiss again and again
