looking back on my entire k-12 school experience with an adhd perspective now makes so much sense... i was always well behaved but was nearly held back every single grade because i could not stay organized or remember assignments for the life of me. the assignments i did manage to do were shoved into my backpack with the other 10 million papers out of their folders and lost by the time i had to turn it in. the planner given to us by the school was not used a single time 💀 i probably could've had a degree by now if i had gotten a diagnosis years ago. whatever.
