sorry one more thing. will and the gaggle of smith hockeys who are never more than 3 feet behind him. his mom and sister who just seem to follow him from state to state. the hockey moms and billet brothers and of course how could we forget ryan leonard and will vote. how could we not mention will vote. but this is someone who has been surrounded and supported and provided for his entire life. and then he got his first taste of independence and omg!
and then enter mack 18 who has really only ever wanted to depend on someone other than himself! and he can’t even really depend on himself can he? he’s been so uptight and so driven and so focused for so long that he doesn’t even notice when will comes out of the blue and is like oh i can finally be a true smith hockey and take care of someone!
and i think that rookie year is so important and i think about it 3-5 times per day
