Witchcraft in itself is not religious. It is simply the practice of Magick. You don't need to have a god to be a witch. It is a choice. :) Maybe eclectic witchcraft is something to consider? My best tip is dive into religions that interest you. Learn about their practices and gain a deeper understanding of each one. You will find things in each one that align with you as well as things that don't align with you, and you will also come to find that a lot of religions teach the same things. But if something in there doesn't resonate with you, you are under no obligation to follow it. You can definitely learn a lot by doing this though.
Also, you can look into non-religious practices such as energy healing (commonly known as reiki), astral projection, remote viewing, lucid dreaming, manifestation, kinesis abilities, shadow work, etc.
You probably have no idea where to start though, and I didn't either first starting out so here are a few resources to help point you in the right direction:
Ralph Smart (Non-religious Spirituality)
Ryan Cropper (Astral Projection)
Aaron Doughty (Non-religious Spirituality)
Koi Fresco (Non-religious Spirituality)
Emma Mumford (Manifestation)
Trebor Seven (Kinesis Abilities)
Teal Swan (Non-religious Spirituality)
Harmony Nice (Wicca & Witchcraft)
Molly Roberts (Witchcraft)
Michael Grubb (Kinesis Abilities)
The non-religious spiritual Youtubers often talk and teach a bit about different abilities as well.
If you want to dive deeper and expand your knowledge further, you can take courses on divination, reiki, protection magick, crystal work, astral projection, mediumship, and a bunch of other spiritual topics on Udemy. The courses there usually range between $75-$250 on average, HOWEVER, Udemy has insane sales EXTREMELY frequently where pretty well all courses on the website go on sale for $14 and sometimes cheaper so that's the time to buy. I've bought several courses on there before and the material is awesome and often quite extensive. Well worth beyond $14. Just be sure to pay attention to the course ratings and reviews and see what you're getting in each one.
Gaia.com is also a great resource and has a variety of topics to choose from. Your first 2 weeks is 99 cents so you can try it out and make sure you like the content. After the two weeks it costs I think 9.99/month so about as much as Netflix. Gaia also has a YouTube where you can watch a limited amount of their videos for free so maybe check that out first and see if you like the content they post there. 😊
The Amino app also has a lot of incredible witchcraft communities. It's free to download on your phone and there's honestly so much to explore. Just search up what you want to join and there is more than likely a community already dedicated to it where you can learn from and interact with other members.
That should be quite a bit to get you started and exploring. People can give you resources, but you aren't really going to know 100% the path you are going to take until you just jump in and start exploring different things on your own. :) So don't stress, enjoy the process, watch videos, read books, and somewhere along the way you will begin to realize what works best for you. ❤
