switching back to writing in third person like a grown up after writing in second person for months is like pulling teeth. second person is writing cheat codes. gives you the emotional distance from first person to not feel like a high schooler, but you can still reap all the benefits of straightforward conversational styling. second person goes down sooooo easy. you did this and you thought that. it has nothing to do with me. now im in third person and the pronouns... juggling the pronouns. name city. every other word is a name. or else she said to her, “WHICH ONE OF US IS TALKING????”
