it's very funny how people immediately forget a character is disabled as soon as their character arc stops orbiting around their disability. like he's missing a leg.

A lot of the comments are ignoring the fact that he is still disabled. “But it’s a super arm” “he got a new arm” “he had a prosthetic” so fun fact you’re still disabled if you are missing an arm even if you get a prosthetic that works just as well as your arm. You still have a disability. That’s how disabilities work. I do not want to see someone without a disability having a take on this atp.

Like there is some nuance on how well your society can/will accommodate you, farsightedness is less significant if you've got access to glasses and dyslexia is a bigger issue if written communication is your main form of communication - but being able to accommodate it near perfectly doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
