• I'll just be putting everything I've written down from the document I have on her here—her abilty has a lot of drawbacks and can cause her casualties at times, so she's not going out and catching every candy thief with her abilty activated! In actuality, she uses it sparsely, usually only when asked or deemed necessary.

Ability: In Search of Lost Time/Remembrance of Things Past

Type: Support

Summary: A chronal ability that seemingly renders through a timepiece. Upon activation the user is able to see ‘visions' of any point of time from seconds to years in the past, present, and future, whether that be along their own timeline or that of objects and others.

Object (alleged necessary activator): A complicated ability related to time travel, which triggers through an antique watch that looks to be broken at a first glance—however, despite the arms not moving, it continues to quietly tick. When it's activated, the arms move timing the duration of how long her ability has been activated. Though, sometimes, her ability activates candidly.

Basics: Upon activation – by clicking the watch button at the top – the ability will trigger; by this point vision-like holograms will start to appear taking on moving images of the past, present, and future, all continuously overlapping, disappearing, etc. Depending on how many 'holograms' there are, it becomes difficult to distinguish different threads of the era's, it requires extreme precision for her to get the specifics right—and even then it's still enigmatic guesswork.

Heritage ability: Remembrance of Things Past, used to belong to Marcel's late grandfather, whom she is also named after. The golden pocket watch being an heirloom, said to have been in their family for generations.

“Holograms”: Through the visions, even when they're simply still images, Marcel can deduce small points in time or pinpoint certain events of the future, past, present depending on how a certain ‘hologram’ moves or appears esc: seeing someone as a child or adult. (She can also see visions of people who have been long dead). The visions are protruding, constant, overlapping, and at times hard to tell apart—considering how many possible futures someone has and possible options/timelines there are. Some visions are clearer than others; those are more likely to come true. However, under the guise of ‘all men are equal’ her visions aren't as protruding anymore as they used to be.

Weaknesses:

Using her ability for a long time causes a rather nauseating effect because of the sheer amount of overlapping information coming in—like going in constant loops whilst on a roller coaster. Over the years, she has become more used to the effect, though, and takes a special medication, so in the moment, she's not especially dragged down by it; at least not right away. Whilst she's perpetually blind without her glasses when her ability is not in effect, her eyesight is heightened when using her ability. Thus, she can see perfectly clearly and (usually) takes off her glasses when her ability is active. (Since the diopter is too strong and the glasses become blurry).

The longer her ability is active, the hazier her mind becomes. Marcel commonly is not able to recall what happened or what exactly she saw after using her ability, and she's easily forgetful due to this matter; having lost many memories from her past. Her ability is also the cause of her bad eyesight exacerbated by the fact she could see perfectly clearly as a child.

Is able to perceive all possible timelines but can't determine where or which. Upon activation, she doesn't have conscious control over what she sees anymore. Visions appear and disappear every second—millisecond even. How can someone perceive a timeline that no longer exists?

Weakness Summary: As it technically is a constant stream of information it can easily become overbearing and ultimately overload the brain—that paired with the consistent horokinetic jumps may cause the user to suffer from dissociation when not using the ability, brain fog, vomiting, various symptoms of dizziness, loss of eyesight from overexposure, and [redacted].
