This is legitimately useful reframing. A while ago I started replacing the word "cop" in my vocabulary with "a man with a gun." It really puts things into perspective.

This homeless person is making me uncomfortable. Should I call [a man with a gun]?

My neighbor is having a loud party. Should I get [a man with a gun] involved?

There are some teenagers skateboarding. Do you think [a man with a gun] would get rid of them for me?

It makes it very clear what you're saying. I can call a man with a gun to threaten or hurt someone mildly inconveniencing me. You're not calling the cops, you're calling A MAN WITH A GUN into a situation that does not warrant a firearm handled by a volatile lunatic who will not be held accountable for his actions.

heyyyyyy guys i know it’s late but im so stressed about having enough funds for ubers to get to work and going to get my prozac and wellbutrin before im out friday. the last couple weeks have been rough. my dog got really sick and ended up in the emergency vet and ive been forced to help my parents with their electric and house payment.

How does Crowne pick to be his “patients”? Does he have a guideline and expectations his goes by or does he just choose random people. Also, why doesn’t Crowne hire any help like nurses or other doctors to assist him?

He takes them at random, as to not be suspected as having a pattern of patients he's looking for. And after a long history of people doubting his vision for the world, he's opted to just working solo most of the time. The people down there in the clinic tend to help sometimes too
