Do we have an official timeline of the Hannibal universe? Or what is the best guess for how long did the 3 seasons actually took place? We know there's a 3 years jump from 3.07 to 3.08, and an 8 months gap between Will's recovery and him arriving at Norman Chapel. But what about other times like when Will was going through prison and trials in S2, or when he fully recovered from his gun shot wound and encephalitis to be healthily sitting in a prison cell in 1.13?
The short answer is no, there’s no official timeline that I am aware of. There’s no real sense how long S1 is.
We know Season 2 took 12 weeks, and it started shortly after the Hello, Will/Hello, Dr. Lecter since they’re still in the CYA investigation of Hannibal and Jack at the FBI.
We know between Will waking up in the hospital and arriving at the Norman Chapel is 8 months, but we don’t know how long after the Red Dinner it was when he wakes up (presumably not long, since he’s still bandaged and Alana is in traction and still very bruised when we first see her).
We also don’t know how much time elapses between Will arriving at the Norman Chapel and the Massacre at Muskrat Farms.
Fast forward 3 years, and then we know that between 3x08 and the attack on Molly and Walter in 3x11 there’s 3 weeks, because Jack tells us that’s how much time until the next full moon. But we don’t know how much time happens between 3x11 and 3x13.
