Enjoy these date and walnut brownies, which are rich and chocolaty. Dates, walnuts, and cocoa all work together perfectly to make a treat that will completely satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients: 1 cup chopped dates. 1 cup chopped walnuts. 1/2 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup cocoa powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. A 9x9-inch baking pan should be greased and floured. Put chopped dates and 1/2 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes, or until the dates get soft and the water is gone. Take it off the heat and let it cool down. Butter and sugar should be mixed together in a large bowl until they are light and fluffy. Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix them in until they are well mixed in. Add the cooked dates and chopped walnuts and mix them into the batter until they are evenly spread out. Spread the batter out evenly in the baking pan that has been prepared. Put it in an oven that has already been heated for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Let brownies cool in the pan for a while before cutting them into squares. Have fun!
